I have been to more dentists and endodontists than I care to admit and when I moved to Austin I had to look for a new one, I found one and wasn't terribly pleased but I just figured HEY, your getting a root canal what’s to like! I have several dental issues that need to be addressed but for whatever reason most dentists shy away from them and just deal with the small picture. I met someone that works for Dr. Guton and was impressed with how passionate she was about his practice so I thought maybe I should give this guy a try. I am so glad that I did! I have never had someone go into so much detail as Dr Guton. He really does look at the overall health over your mouth not just the issue that you came in with, he tries to approach it so that you will not be coming in for those emergency procedures, he wants to get your mouth as healthy as possible. He has a very friendly and welcoming staff who take great care of you even if you are a big baby like me and ask WAY too many questions, they will answer them all with great care and compassion. I look forward to having Dr Guton also take care of my orthodontic issues. Other orthodontist weren't as eager to help me because of some of my dental issues, but Dr. Guton is taking all the appropriate steps to get my mouth healthy first and I really appreciate that. A healthy mouth would be nice for a change. He has really taken the fear out of dentistry for me and that is simply amazing, I didn't think it could be done! I recommend him to all of my family and friends something I have never done for someone in the medical profession before. Dr Guton is a very straight shooter, he tells you exactly what you need to do in order to get to your goal of a healthy and or beautiful smile!
Pros: best dentist ever, friendly staff, easy to get to off Mopac, comfortable enviroment
Cons: didn't met Dr. Guton sooner! :)

This is a very different dental office. You get lots of information, understanding and attention. It's definitely not overcrowded and you always feel pampered! "The devil is in the details" and that's exactly what Dr. Gotun is after. He's very high-tech and thorough. Whatever time and effort it takes to make your smile unique and make you happy - it will be done. It's remarkable that he looks at your dental health as a part of a big picture of who you are, who you want to be and what you want to look like. Nothing is impossible. Simply amazing! I highly recommend him to everybody looking for highest quality, perfection, and the most beautiful natural look that can be created.
Pros: Lots of personal attention, everybody connects with you, perfection all around.
Cons: None.
