*I love Emily! AND I am SOOOO glad that she is back at Iris Salon*

Never have i ever had a better eyebrow shaping with anyone else! First of all she actually does a thorough consultation with you, most people just start waxing away!! Totally scary and bound for horrible results!! Second of all she really listened to what I wanted and did not want! She gave me advice on how to take care of my brows in the meantime. There was something different about what she did, it made my eyes really stand out and complimented my face shape without taking too much off. And when i was done she gave me a 15% off next eyebrow wax card! Thank you Emily i will tell everyone i know to come see you!!! Take care.

HELLO Hair Skeptics! EMILY will TAKE CARE of you!!!

I have been in the Austin area for almost 3 years now. I moved from the California area and have had such a hard time finding someone to do my hair. I had been going to the same man since i was a teenager!!!! I stumbled across Iris on my way home from work and decided to give it a try. They were very warm and friendly as soon as i walked in the door, and made me feel like i had known them forever right off the start. THANK GOD that EMILY had an opening for highlights and a quick cut before she left that day! She made me look and feel so freshened up! I love my hair again! On top of it all she made me feel so comforted by her professionalism and obvious talent. I could even tell by the way she combed and parted my hair that she knew what she was doing! It made me feel very secure! Thank you! I will be back!!!

I absolutely loved Emily! She gave me the best haircut that I have had in the longest time! Please do not let the other reviews fool you, this salon went through a horrible mgmt change-over in the last 4 months!!! I have never felt more welcome, comfortable or at home in a salon before. This place was very relaxing and everyone was nice! I can not wait to go back for my highlights! Thank you Emily!

best worst salon in the neighborhood!

I've been here a few times every now and again thinking that it will get better next time. I like to give everyone a fair chance, 'cause everyone including myself has a bad day everyone once in a while but Iris Salon it seems has a bad day EVERYDAY. They really are the best at doing the worst job. I'm seriously doubting the authenticity of the raving reviews on here... probably from the massive staff they have. Not that have a lot of qualified employees but because of the high turn over they have. There's always someone new. It's a toss of the dice between bad and worst. Everything is dirty. The staff is unfriendly. The highlight job toasted my hair. The pedicure was sloppy and chipped 3 days later and completely uneven. Save your money, unless you enjoy helping Iris Salon purchase more false advertisements! haha

I'm Happy their back!!!!!

Well, back in July I had gone in to get my hair cut by Crystal, but they had told me that she was no longer their, honestly it was the worst experience I have ever had in a salon.( I had said to myself I will never go back), but In October I got am email from them and it took me by surprise that it had Crystals' name at the bottom. I called and asked if i could get a haircut with her and they said yes. Will Crystal is back and the salon is also back to normal, the existing crew is coming back slowly and better, also the prices went back to normal. I'm SO HAPPY for all the girls at Iris Salon. Their pedicure and manicures are awesome and cheap!!! Best of Luck!!!
