Best Place In Austin. I just want to say,this is the best place i have been to ...and i have been to many places nothing can compare to Iris Salon is located in a nice area close to Downtown off Lamar, Best customer service and the best pedicures and manicures in town.I invite everyone ..ask for Linda she great!!!!

Great Solar nail. I got my solar nail with Linda she has done a GREAT job :) . i am so happy with her , i love this place it is clean and friendly staff , i will recommend this place .. deluxe mani and pedi .. IN three words i can sump up everthing i have learned about life : IT GOES ON >>

The best Saloon in Austin !!. No comments just the best place to go in Austin,don't put attention to the people that put negatives reviews.Just try it by your self,you don't will be disappointed !!

Where did Mary go?. I called today to make an appointment with Mary at Iris Salon and the Asian woman told me she was no longer there. I asked her where she went and her first reply was she didn't know. I then asked her if she didn't know or wasn't going to tell me. She said she would not tell me. I told her I was not coming back to her salon (what a dump), but she didn't seem to care on bit. Mary was the best hair stylist I have ever had. She cut my short with style and did a wonderful job on my color. Finally a color I have been asking others to give me, but they wouldn't for various reasons. Mary is awesome, and now that I finally find someone, she has left. Does anyone know the wereabouts of Mary? Thanks!

sooo... ghetto!!!. I have been here a few times in the past and it was really great but the last time i went back for a manicure and a pedicure the girl was on her cell phone the whole time speaking Spanish (also to most of her employee's). She said she was the new owner but she wasn't very professional and her clothes where trashy and provocative! And I could barely understand what she was saying to me because she had such a thick accent. It wasn't very relaxing like it was before she took over. I was really hoping she would at least do a good job on my nails but the polish was really thick and she acted like she could do good designs. All i wanted was a simple flower and that was even really bad! I went strait home and took off all of the polish and did it better myself!

DO NOT go to this place!!! There was even this girl at the front desk that I'm not so sure was a girl because she sounded like a man.

Never Again. I loved that I was able to make my appointments online- eyebrows, refill for solar nails and pedicure. This was the best part of the whole experience.

When I got there the person that I did my appointment with told me that she couldn’t help me; so she passed me to another girl.

The woman that did my pedicure was good. She was new and nervous, she didn’t know where thing were. The sad part of all this was she never got help from any one in the salon and I saw how the others talked about her. If she worked in a different salon I would have my pedicures with her every time. She did my eyebrows too. She did a great job. Then she took me to the girl that did my solar refills. Holly crap! I’ve had my nails for over 7 years and I have never ever experienced something like this. She was concerned with her cellphone and the nail work that she had done 15 minutes before the failed attempt of doing my nails. The job that she did was so bad that I made an appointment next day at another salon (my regular salon) so they could fix this (at the Saturday appointment they had to remove most of them).

While I was at the salon every single employee was either on their phone, laptops, eating and there was one in a room sleeping-

Never again….

Emily is back at iris!!!!!! YAY!!!!!. I was so excited to find that Emily is back at iris salon! She always gave me a beautiful haircut and color! She has always been very professional and well educated in her field of work as well! You should def try her out!

Elena-awesome pedicure!!!. I got 2 pedicures with Elena last month and I'm a regular client of "Iris" now. She does a great job! Ask for a moisturizing pedi(scrab+hot paraffin), it costs $ 35 and worth it!!!



I love this place, you feel like they really care about you, but not about your wallet! They clean the implements after each use and don't use 1 file or clipper for a few clients, I'm very picky about that and that's why I returned back!

Thanks for my pixie cut Maggie - I love it!. I have been debating whether to cut my hair into a pixie shag style. I was waiting for my car to get fixed down the street at Yosh and decided just to walk in and check out the hair style books. Then I meet Maggie and we talked about what would work and not work for my hair. She was such an expert and very honest about everything. She was also very thoughtful to make sure I was really ready for such a drastic change. I put my life in her hands and the pixie cut turned out incredible! Its so playful. Thank you so much Maggie - I'll see you in a few weeks!

Unfriendly staff, worst parking. The only reason I went here was because I had gotten a gift certificate from my son in law. The staff was rude inattentive and didn't have a lick of sense as to what they were doing. I've never been jerked around so much in my life. Not only that the parking is just the worst, I almost got ran into because the only way to get out of there was to back directly into on coming traffic. Nothing something I will put myself through again anytime soon. My son in law had the right and sweet idea but chose absolutely the worse place to send me to.
