Doggie and Owners LOVE this place!

Our special pup just spent his first weekend at Dogtown and he came back SO happy and chilled out. The crew over there is SO wonderful about sending you updates and even VIDEOS of your dog playing! It's amazing. And we even received some actual photo prints of just our pup when we picked him up. We love that they offer non-caged overnight stay options for our newly adopted large dog as well. The peace of mind you have knowing your dog is in good hands is priceless - thank you Dogtown!!
While this does not effect my review, I will say that our pup had a distinctive smell when we picked him up from boarding. It won't distract me in the least from taking him back - he IS a dog - but maybe get the "exit bath" if your dog has important plans afterwards ;)

My vet recommened Bobbi Colorado's Canine Camp. I could not have been happier. I trusted my vets opinion, and he was so right! I love that the dogs have so much fun playing together. I also felt so comfortable that the owners live on the property. It gave me a sense of calm knowing someone with expertise was there 24 hrs.
I now recommend Bobb Colorado's Canine Camp to all of my dog loving friends.
- Pros: Very professional, caring, staff. Great facilities. Love the
- Cons: None

I took my 4 spoilt brats for an evaluation to see if we could leave them for two weeks while we go on vacation, so I left them for the day, not expecting the spoilt little foursome to behave very well.
Not only were they exhausted from playing, they were so happy and content they all fell asleep in the car on the way home.
The girls were so patient and great, that I really don't feel nervous about leaving them at all, in fact I know they are going to be treated really well.
The set up is that of home. They get to hang out in the house and play all day, with a great outside area to run about when they want it.
- Pros: amazing care!!!!!
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?
I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else

Great Indoor/Outdoor Doggy Daycare
by srwert at Citysearch
I was looking for a new Doggy Daycare when I moved to So. Austin. I initially just moved to the So. Austin site of my previous Doggy Daycare, won't mention the name, and did not have the same overall satisfaction from that site as I had the No. Austin site. Plus, they were outdoor only with crating between play times, so my boys were having bad allergies and coming home with higher levels of energy than they were supposed to after a day at daycare. So, I started looking around for a different daycare. I stumbled across Austin Dogtown on Citysearch. I sent and email to inquire about view the facility. It was right around the holidays, and those of us who do boarding and daycare know what a hectic time it is for them. The owner sent me an email and gave me a call. I set up a appt to go view the facility. I got the full tour and really like the fact that they are an indoor and outdoor facility. I scheduled the initial appt for the boys and haven't looked back since. Becca and staff are absolutely wonderful and my boys LOVE it there. I saw improvements in energy, or lack there of when I picked them up and the skin type allergies dropped drastically as well. I would highly reccommend this facility for those that have pampered pooch's like mine.
- Pros: Indoor/Outdoor facility, Wonderful Careing Staff
- Cons: Receiving/Pick up area not segregated.
