I would of gave them a 2 star, but rethinking my experiences made me only want a 1 star. This place is nice and the customers are amazing, but the owning staff are a bunch of non-trusting, rude people. I would of never of wrote this had my last encounter turned my eyes to the truth.

They SAY they open at 11am, so I came little after and BOOM I was SCREAMED at for walking in saying that the store was closed. If your store is closed, then LOCK YOUR DOOR. What store isn't open when they are clearly marked as such. This is ridiculous, especially being screamed at by the owners wife to get out and the store was closed. I had just walked in and I heard her the first time then she continued it.

Other times they are just rude to new people. I've only gone in a few times and every time they have just either ignored me or completely been snappy with me. They only seem to enjoy their regulars, to which they seem to give discounts to compared to someone who doesn't frequent them.

My above statement has proof. All of their products are WAYYYY over priced. Its like you don't even want to touch things cause you'll get burned with sticker shock. I play the WOW TCG game and their SINGLE packs that normally EVERYWHERE ELSE goes for $3.99 goes for $4.25. That is completely ridiculous. I understand you "Have to make a living" but at that price for single packs I'd rather just go to Wal-Mart or Target for that.

In essence, they are extremely rude, up pricing store that only cares about making money. Nice try there folks, but you lost my business with the screaming at me and get to work on time next time, when it says 11am, well you should be set for the day.

Best collectible's in town!. About a year ago, I saw a commercial for something called Wonko's Toys and Games, and being the curious person that I am, I wanted to check it out. I was amazed at the items that they had! I kept coming back because the store kept getting more and more fine goods. I am a huge Anime head, so to be able to get Gundam Fix figures, FFVII: Advent Children, Bome figures and many others is truly great! It beats having to import them myself. If you have not stopped by to look around, or at least to say "Hi", I highly recommend it. Wonko's Toys and Games has a wonderful and great staff, and will help you find that special Collectible! Enjoy your shopping!

Coolest toy store EVER!. WONKO'S IS THE COOLEST TOY STORE ON THE PLANET! IT HAS THE BEST TOYS, THE BEST GAMES AND THE NICEST, FRIENDLIEST AND CUTEST EMPLOYEES! :) GREAT SELECTION AND VERY HELPFUL/KNOWLEDGABLE STAFF! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wonderful! Best Toy store in austin!. Best selection of toys in austin, probably ll of texas. Plus the people are very freindly and helpful. I felt totally welcome and at home, surrounded by thousands of toys and freindly people. Plus they have a wid variety of games, including Warhammer and Warhammer40,000, fantasy flight games(which ive come to love) avalon hills games (also great,) and many more. They really did a great job.
