Austin >Food & Dining > Estancia Churrascaria
A decadent, tall house of meat, Estancia Churrascaria is one of those places where the staff walks by with huge spears of glistening steak/chicken/pork/you name it, and asks if you would like a cut. It's all you can eat, so I recommend starving yourself a little before you come here -- you'll want to try everything.
Amazing Food, Excellent Service and Great Wines!. This was one the best dining experience of my life. The food was just amazing, full of flavor and variety. Every single bite was delicious, the meats were all so good and the chefs serve you as if you were a king. The service was impecable. The staf was all very polite, helpful and joyful. I am a wine lover and their wine list impressed me. Very good selection and reasonbly priced, plus the server was very knowledgeable about the wine. I cant wait to go back. It was a very pleasant evening.
Excellent Service, Great Caipirinhas, Delicious Food. I went to Estancia last night and it was wonderful. The meats were very good. They were perfect, well seasonned and succulent, everything I tried was good, but my favorite was the chicken legs and the house special "picanha". The food at Estancia is really good, everything is elaborated. The servers really take care of the customers, they pay attention to all the details. Our water glass was never less than half full, Also, they serve really good "caipirinhas" - a brazilian drink made with brazilian liquor, fresh limes and sugar. I am already craving this food just by talking about. Everyone should indulge in a true churrascaria experience every once in a while. It is well worth it.
Not as good as Fogo de Chao. I went to Estancia Churrascaria recently with my fiance for the first time. Save your money honey, and go to Fogo de Chao instead for the real Churrascaria experience. I was not pleased with the quality of meat, or the service at Estancia. It is worth the drive to go downtown and eat at Fogo. I will never make the mistake again and go to Estancia for the driving convenience.
Estancia Chirrascaria - well worth the drive from Round Rock!!!.
We ate here after having enjoyed Fago de Chao a couple months ago. We liked the more intimate atmosphere and felt the staff paid attention to what we liked and made sure to return with our favorite cuts of meat. The food service was great and the filet mignon came around as often as the chicken (both of which were wonderful). We all loved the house special best!
However, the standout of this place was Josh the bartender. Here is a man who really knows his business. We discussed grappas and brandies while enjoying a good wine. My guests, experienced martini drinkers, said that Josh's martinis were the best. He even came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our evening.
We loved Estancia and would go back for the food and would likely call first to see if Josh was working!
Best of the best in USA.
My wife and i travel all year to different state, so we eats in restaurant all the time. This restaurant surpass any other restaurant we has eaten. For the price and the food quality nobody else beat this one.
The meat condiment is excellent for any tate. The salad are excellent too.
After trying several meat in this restaurant and eating everything they put on the table I never felt full like many other food on some restaurant. I felt satisfy and I had a good digestion. this was at lunch and at that evening I was not feeling hungry.
The staff was extremly couteus and helpful. They were willing to satisfy our need and tate.
I strongly recomend it.
Consistency, quality and good service. This is my first review on city search. I just want to express my appreciation to Estancia Churrascaria. I have been there several times and is always great. They are very consistent on the quality and service. I like my meats well done and my husband likes medium rare, I would think it would be hard to please both of us, considering their style, but somehow, they do. And it is alway like that, we always leave Estancia very happy. They serve meats in skewers, an excellent salad bar, and some side dishes. The side dishes are not the main attraction, but the cheese rolls are excellent, the mashed potato is also very good, the bananas and polenta are dangerously wonderful, I ate two bananas once and that made feel super guilty, but I could not resist they are good. Woderful place, I highly recommend it.
if you enjoy churrascarias, you have to try this place.
Growing up in Houston, we ate at Fogo de Chao quite a bit, so when Estancia opened here, I had to try it. It exceeded all of my expectations. The service is prompt and always friendly- glad to respond to any request. The food is consistent and very tasty. In comparison, the salad bar is quite a bit smaller than Fogo De Chao, however it is still very good and that is really the only major difference, that and the lower price per meal. The wine selection is notable.
This is a great place, I take all of my clients for business dinners and it's something everyone always enjoys. It can get busy on weekend nights, and I haven't been for lunch so I cannot comment on that, but otherwise, Estancia is an all-around wonderful place to go. The owner takes alot of pride in what he does, and that combined with his extensive knowledge of Brazilian style cooking has made this restaurant one of my regular places to go.
Do plan a good amount of time though when dining here, as the presentation and process are all part of the experience. It doesn't take long to be seated, however the progress of the meal (as with that in any churrascaria) can take longer than a usual meal. Also, if you're a wine drinker be sure to check out the extensive wine list, it is an offering of wines you would expect to see as well as some surprisingly nice choices that I was not familiar with prior to dining here. If you would like to try something new, they are great at suggesting the perfect wine for your pallate.
Meat paradise. I went there with my family before christmas, and I must say that I have never tasted meats as delicious as the cuts they offer here. From the chicken drumsticks seasoned to perfection to the tender and delicious filet mignon. But my truly favorite was the picanha... The salad bar was beautiful, my cousin had visited another brazilia steakhouse and told me that the salad bars are usually bigger than here, but the salad bar at Estancia was very well selected and the quality was impecable. Not to mention the wine selection, it was very nice and with prices for everyone. Great restaurant!
Great Customer Service. I was at Estancia with my family on Saturday and we had an excellent time. The meats were excellent as usual and their pork tenderloin with parmesan cheese is magnificent. I have been there before and the managers are really good in remembering their guests. They knew how I like my meats and the wine that I drink. The Salad Bar was fresh and varied and the side dishes kept coming. Very nice place!
> then an 8oz filet mignon steak within 2 hours of eating time.
We had a company Xmas party at this restaurant. I was eager to enjoy an over the top Filet Mignon chow down. I Saw the Filet Mignon skewer twice during our 2 hours at the restaurant. I had to specifically asked for filet mignon TWICE. They should have brought that meat out as frequently as the Chicken and Sausage Skewers. I didn't even get an 8oz Filet Mignon steak out of the whole deal. Mind you the filet mignon was good, when I got it.
My plate was full, but only with the Mash potatoes they provide. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Sad but true
