I am currently taking a calculus class at acc and was really having a hard time. My teacher, although nice, is not the best in the world. i found out that patrick teaches at acc (i really, really, really wish he was my teacher) and also does tutoring. since i could not have him for a teacher, i was happy that i could get his help anyways. boy, does this guy know his calculus. we sat down and he immediately got to business. he told me what i was doing right and wrong and what i needed to go home and do if i was going to succeed in the class (i forgot some basic derivative stuff!). he was very nice, but he did not 'sugar coat' things - he told me just what i needed to do. after going home and practicing some old stuff, while staying on top of things with him help, my grade has improved from a D to a B in just over 6 weeks. now, it looks like i do not have to retake this class and i can keep going forward! he is really great. he has also been very flexible with my schedule which is nice cause i work crazy hours. i would recommend him to anyone needing help with math.
