A Misunderstanding Resolved. The last time I went to Avenue Five, I was very happy with my color, done by Rebecca (I've never had a bad experience with color here, and only one bad experience in all my visits, but, hey, it is a teaching school, and I have certainly had bad experiences at pricey salons!).

Anyway, that said, when I called to book an appt. this week, I was told that they could not book anymore appts. for me until I spoke with the manager!!! To make a long story short, Brandon, the owner, called me and explained to me that Ave. Five has a policy to speak with anyone who seems to have been unhappy in any way before booking them again, so that any mishap can be resolved. I really wasn't unhappy (it was a misunderstanding when cashing out) and everything was happily resolved, and I am going back next week.

LOVE THIS PLACE!. I love this place! Got a wax and a facial and everyone is so nice. The facial was AMAZING and I got a really great massage out of it too. Wonderful staff and really great for girls day!

Definitely would recommend to anyone! I love Avenue5! Best place in Austin with the cheapest prices that are unheard of!

Great place for a girls day out!. OK...I have been to a "beauty school" for services before....many moons ago. I only went for the price because it was sooo awful...so needless to say, I was a little skeptical about trying out another school. From the moment I entered Avenue Five I was pleasantly surprised by it's upscale atmosphere. By the time I left I felt like I had been to an elite spa for the day. I had an 85 minute facial and hair cut and color. When I went to check out, I thought they made a mistake on the bill it was such a great price. It was less than I typically pay for just a haircut! For those who think a great spa day is only for the rich and famous...think again!

One of Austin's best kept secrets!. This place amazing!! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you are in an up-scale salon and everyone is so professional and friendly! It only gets better when you go to check out and pay a fraction of the cost for services that make you look like a million bucks!

Awesome Salon Services. Hair cut, color, facial, nails everything was excellent! The facility was hip yet elegant and very inviting, totally chic. The staff was friendly and professional, made me feel very comfortable. The services were all affordable and met all my expectations, it was like getting pampered at a high-end salon but paying half the price. Loved it!
