Brew & Cue. Bad service. Would never recommend this to anyone visiting Austin. After over an hour never got our food due to some mix up in the kitchen even though our server assured us three times that he had checked on our food and it was coming. We were actually served someone else's order which we pointed out . Granted this was after ACL but no excuse. At least they comped the beers and gave us a coupon for another meal, but I won't go back. Felt like they just discarded me as a customer.

Live music and barbeque. I had the barbeque turkey, briskey, and pork trio. It was just okay. The band was good. I'm not sure bad bands survive in Austin. The bbq didn't move me, however. The Great June Debate was the highlight of the visit.

great outdoor seating, craft beers but keep looking for bbq. When I go to a BBQ place I want smoke to pour out the chimney and hit me in the nose when I get out of my car. That's the sign of a good BBQ joint. I didn't get that impression here at Uncle Billy's.

I went on a Sunday night with a friend. It was ok but a little expensive. I had the two meat plate with two sides ($13.95). I chose the smoked turkey and the jalapeno cheese sausage with mac n cheese and fries as my sides. My mac was not even warm and my fries were warm. Kitchen basics; I don't know why it is so hard for some places to serve fresh food and to time out all of the components of the dish? They weren't even 1/2 full that night. The mac was flavorless and the fries are tasty and the thin shoe string variety.

The turkey had a good smokey taste and the sausage was ok but wasn't smoked...didn't taste smoked. The food is good but overpriced for what you get. The turykey was dry but I think it was due to being reheated. It wasn't dry which is easy to do with turkey so kudos for that. Both of their sauces are good and I suggest you try them both.

Because it was ok I plan on going back and to try other dishes. It's a great place to hang with friends outside or inside to watch a game.

BEST BEER N BBQ!!!!!. The Service is great and the beer and barbeque are even better. A must for tourists and Austinites alike. Try the turkey and macaroni!!! This place seems to be slow now but tell your friends and lets make it a hot spot!!! Great location too.

Aeh. Must tip my hat to the $2.00 Tuesday beer selections, which is indeed the only day to go the Uncle Billy's give that their beer is very inconsistent (Hefeweizen!). Great to have craft brewing in Austin but don't pat yourselves on the back yet. BBQ good but overpriced - must follow suit with the other overpriced restaurants (i.e. Romeo's).

Best beer and very good barbecue. It's the beer for me ... the brewmaster is Brian Peters who started Live Oak and later brewed at the Bitterend. The "Back 40 Blonde Ale" is AWESOME along with the "Haystack Hefeweizen" - the BEST Hefewizen I have ever tasted. The barbecue is actually quite good - secondary to the beer for me though. They have decent lunch specials, sandwhich and 2 sides for a reasonable price. And 2$ pints on Tuesday. Now, if only Brian would brew up some of that Tres Diablos or pre-prohibition style Pilsner that I used to get at the Bitterend ...

best ribs in austin. these ribs are the best I have put in my mouth. they are not greasy like most rib places, very meaty, meat pulls right off the bone and they have so much flavor. I highly recommend this place for ribs.

Barbecue joint and brewpub serves smoked brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey and the fixings along with pints of freshly made beer.. In Short
Casually attired Austinites kick back for beer and smoked grub under the oak trees on the laidback wooden deck. The restaurant interior features windowed garage doors overlooking Barton Springs Road that are raised during good weather and provide great people-watching opportunities. As the evening goes on, the restaurant welcomes casual drinkers and diners. Beer lovers partake of five beers made on site, including a hefeweizen, blonde ale, amber and an IPA.
