Overpriced, low quality cupcake

Cupcakes were dry and crumbly. Frosting was too sweet. More focus on making the cupcakes look pretty vs. tasting good.

Good and Great cupcakes

I can see why there are some mized reviews here. After eyeing the airstream for some time we finally tried out Hey Cupcake with some visiting friends (whom we'd experienced cupcake bliss in Portland) so this was highly anticipated. Between the 5 of us we tried 7-8 different cupcakes.

All of us liked the standard cup cakes but found them a little dry and just basic. Nothing special.

Now the specialty cupcakes for a meere $.50 more and you have some of the buest cupcake sin town. The Michael Jackson with chunks of chocolate in the cake...wow. And the carrot cupcake...amazing. Rivals my favorite St Cupcake in Portland. Have to say the lightly browned edges were superb.

Stick tot he special cakes and you will not be disappointed.
