We visited this restaurant while in town for business. Since we are from Louisiana, we were looking forward to a taste of "home". I will say the hostess was very polite and prompt. However, that's where the good news ends. We were there for an early dinner about 6PM. Our waitress' entire vocabulary consisted of one word....."Cool". I had the etouffee and my husband had the fried catfish. The roux was much too thick. While a thin roux is awful too, this roux just wasn't good. The fried catfish had a good batter, but the fish itself was left completely unseasoned and tasteless. It was a little too early in the evening to sample the music, but hopefully it is better. But i won't go back to find out!

I discover Roux while surfing Citysearch for an after work spot with my co-workers. We picked a fun spot with a good crowd that serves quality Cajun appy's and fun cocktails. We all ordered Huricanes which seemed to be the daily special and sampled the fried tomatoes, fried pickles, oysters and the small sliders/burgers. Everything met or beat expectations as a few of the dishes were new to me. Good music was being played and the evening was fun. Roux will now be in my afterwork rotation and a must for dinner.
