Great taste of thai food!. I know a lot of people who like this place, and come again and again, because of great food and amaizing waiter staff.

Don't try to send back a bad meal. Glad we weren't the only ones! My friend ordered a plate that was not edible - she thought there might have been something spoiled (we've been there in the past and liked it real well). The waiter brought her another dish and charged us for both. It was a big ordeal trying to explain what had happened. The waiter finally said, "fine - I'll pay for it out of my pocket!" Whatever. Won't be back there.

Ehh. This has gotten really bad lately.. I used to eat here at least once a week until we moved a few months ago. This past visit was really disappointing. The portions were really small, and we ordered one of the "specials" which was pretty gross tasting and unedible. After one bite, we tried to send it back. It sat on our table the entire meal and the waitress said "Even if you don't like it, you still have to pay for it." She then asked if we wanted a to-go box for a dish we literally could not stand to look at.

Keep that in mind if you're feeling adventurous there. You may end up with something weird and mushy, and nobody will care.

Yuk Madam Mams. this visit was a total bummer.

Avg at best.... Good food... Horrible parking situation & every business says they will tow... Only have ordered things to-go, but it seems like its a good portion size. Just make sure you check your order BEFORE you leave the restaurant! Got an order of Chicken pad thai w/ chinese broc & it was all burned from the wok... (when somthing is burned... the whole order tastes that way.) Called the manager & all she said was that I "should have checked my order before I left!" So, I took the box of uneaten food back to the restaurant & gave it back to the Manager... & after 3 people looking & "talking" about it... then & only then they made me a new one. LAME! Have not been back since...

eh.. I've been a loyal and long-time fan of Mam's, but this location pales in comparison to the campus Mam's. The food was okay, but any attempt outside of your usual will be meet with disappointment and indigestion. I only go to this location when I'm craving one particular dish. In all other instances, I head elsewhere. Further, in addition to the lackluster service, the waitstaff seems to lack familiarity with the overall menu, which seems to be a major complaint in other reviews I've read. Also, I've noticed recently that the portions have gotten significantly smaller, which is an issue considering the portions were weak before. Further, management does not respond to complaints. My suggestion: visit this location only if you know what you want and you've had it here before.

really suprised!. Went here per my husband loving anything asian in the way of food. I've never been to the Guadlupe location, but will say this one is pretty good. The decor is really cute and the food, as far as I can tell, pretty authentic. I had Yellow Curry, (#P3) with chicken, SO GOOD! My husband had Pad Thai, as this is a dish not many make well, he wasn't suprised it wasn't his favorite. But we will be going back... and trying more! Thanks guys! OH and love the roses!

What a rip off. We like the food there, but the service has not been very good. The last time we were there they brought out the wrong order. It took them another 15 minutes for the righ order to come out. Today my wife went and ordered several dishes to go. When she got home, she was in for a surprise. The portion was half of what they serve at the restaurant. I am sorry but my family will not be returning to this place again.

PADSEEWPADSEEWPADSEEWPADSEEWPADSEEW. I was so stoked they opened one down where i lived. i did not like going to the one in guadalope because it was located right next to UT Austin aka no parking. the only thing i got there was the pad se ew with flat noodles and chicken + thai iced tea. i have never tried anything else on the menu even though ive probably been there 30+ times. gotta play it safe!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. I'm downgrading my review because of a really bad service experience I had this evening. I ordered a dish which comes with a choice of tofu or pork. I ordered it with tofu this evening, and was dismayed to find that some of the other listed ingredients were missing (fish ball, crab). I asked the waitress what happened, and she informed me that the tofu version was vegetarian and didn't include them - this was not stated on the menu, nor was the word "vegetarian" used to imply it. So I asked for the pork version instead, which didn't come for fifteen minutes. At the end of the meal she had charged me for both dishes.

Good restaurants comp a meal when the customer is dissatisfied. Decent restaurants at least comp what you send back. Who charges you for a meal you didn't want?

Let's do the math, shall we? $8 for the extra meal, subtracted from the $240 or so my husband and I would have spent as once a month visitors to the restaurant this year if she had not charged us. Doesn't seem like a great investment.
