Also get my ManeGain hair therapy there. ManeGain actually prevents hair loss and can regrow hair...wow! Also, have downStairs Apparel and of course I buy something almost every time I visit for a hair day!
Horrible haircut by Shannon.
I asked for some more layers towards the top of my head to give my hair towards my crown a naturally lift and I came home with so many layers towards the bottom of my hair that after I washed it the layers were 1 1/2 inches apart (at the bottom of my hair) leaving my hair top heavy and looking totally choppy. And I have curly hair so this made it look so bad.
My haircut looked like I had gone to Super Cuts.
Also the layers towards my ears and in the front were totally uneven by the left side being 1 1/4 inch longer than the right side.
I didn't notice it in the salon as I had my glasses off most of the appointment and then I did a quick glance at my hair in the salon as Shannon was done. But I noticed it when I came home 15 minutes later and called to see if Shannon could see me again. I was told she could not see me until Tuesday and it was Friday night....
Yep.Tuesday. Who in the heck is going to wait 4 days later to get their hair fixed?
The salon told me they were all booked and NO ONE could see me. I thought to myself...I just tipped Shannon $30 and she can't see me again? Or anyone else for this matter? I just had a huge concern and my hair looked so uneven that NO ONE was able to see me? Amazing.
That's the beauty behind the honesty at Path Salon. They claim they are genuinely interested in your concerns but when they mess up don't expect anything. Expect a horrible, bad haircut. If you have curly hair DO NOT SEE SHANNON! Period.
The most AMAZING EXTENSIONS EVER!. I just had the most amazing experience at Path Salon. Eryn Millington is a hair GENIUS!! I mean GENIUS! I had short hair, about shoulder length and now I have the most amazing locks that are down my back and look totally natural!! I can't believe how amazing it looks! I recommend Eryn to anyone and everyone! She is also AMAZING with color! GO SEE ERYN!! You will not be dissappointed!
Best Haircut in Austin!. I moved to Austin in August of 2007, and I had not had the best experience w/salons here. My first haircut was atrocious, and the second one was pretty good. I went to Ryan at Path Salon at the recommendation of a woman I work with who has really cute hair, and I'm soooo glad I did. The salon is really well decorated, and Ryan's super-laid back. He listened very carefully to my situation (the haircuts of the past, growing my hair out for my wedding, the look I was going for), and he said what he'd do that day and what he'd do over the next few months. He really had a clear vision of what he was going to do to help get my hair looking great. I think the best part of the entire experience was the head and neck massage ... they had to have lasted at least 10 minutes. It felt so good that I had to actually restrain myself from moaning out loud .... seriously. Ryan also had great tips to get my hair softer and healthier, and bangs trims in between cuts are free! (Neck trims too if you have short hair) It does cost more than I'm used to paying for haircuts, but after the past terrible and mediocre haircuts, I think it's totally worth it. Neck and head massage ... mmmmmmm ... go see Ryan. You know you want to.
Expensive. I had seen this small cute salon by the Amy's ice cream on South Congress and gave it a try since it was closer to my home then my usual salon. $$$$$ too much for me to pay
