Grossed Out. My wife and I have eaten at La Tapatia on Research before, but this time will definitely be our last. What we liked: The price & cheese.

The breakfast tacos are reasonably priced and only $.25 per extra topping. When they put on cheese, there is a healthy serving, (not 7 little shreds for .75 like other places).

What happened;

Ordered 5 breakfast tacos, none of them were correct. On one taco, that was almost right, I found two curled up shrimp, (glad I’m not allergic). They don’t make shrimp breakfast tacos, I asked. Which likely means they didn't clean the grill from the night before.

Result: Not eating there again and writing my first restaurant review to warn others.

Dirty. This restaurant is the nastiest place I have been in. Had lunch at 11:30am. It looked as if it had not been swept in days, flies buzzing around, mop and bucket propped at the door. The service was poor. Server never came back after the food arrived. Having said all this, the food was not horrible but mediocre. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not return.

Great Fajita Tacos!. Great Fajita and breakfast tacos! Can't beat the price! I stop by almost everyday on my way to work!
