In Short – Lined with plush booths and tables, the low-lit venue provides a variety of spots for groups to lounge. Amongst red drapes and dark woods, friendly hosts and hostesses tend to the discreet and the high-profile tables, offering beer, wine and exotic cocktails. Groups looking for an incognito evening can reserve one of the three enclosed, padded soundproof booths overlooking the small dance floor.
Great place, Great Staff, Great Owner, Great Music
by smack1050
I booked the green booth for my roommates 21st birthday, even though we reserved the largest booth and only got one bottle of grey goose our server was great, sweet, and energetic. We did get drinks from the bar and had great service there as well. It was a little crowded trying to get t the bathroom but that is my only con. The music was perfect to dance too. We even spoke to one of the owners Brad Womack who was nothing but kind and gracious. the crowd was mid 20s on up and was upscale without being pretentious. It was our first time there and we will definitely return.
- Pros: hot men
- Cons: bathroom crowded
former door guy

I used to work for the bar as a door guy. The owners seem to be nice but very fake. They tell you one thing and mean another.. very confusing!.. and the GM repeatedly told us to keep ghettto colored people out and to not let it get too "dark" in there! He said it in a kidding manner but i know he meant it. The bar is nice and it was fun working there the few times that I did because the door staff and the rest of the staff were always plastered.
One of the Top Ten in Austin

The positives
Respectful doormen (How many do you know of who smile and say "Thank you" upon returning your ID?)
Great Bartenders (friendly, efficient, and not wasted)
Good crowd (put together well without trying too hard...no ears tucked into caps)
The negative
THE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You have 2 speeds to choose from...1. Random corny music that only junior high school girls would dance to (in their little circle of course, purses in the middle)...and 2. Poory, poorly "remastered" pop songs mixed by their local DJ-the second something decent begins to play, he is already mixing something in that TOTALLY KILLS IT. Trust me-if multi platinum award winning artists with millionaire producers wanted Jay Z rapping over a Cindy Lauper song it would have already happened...know your role and play either popular (not MY choice) or good, rare stuff that makes me have to ask...but I guess this IS Austin and its good enough for the majority...
Overall a classy place that still feels friendly...
- Pros: staff, patrons, location
- Cons: music
