Less Than Desirable.
This is a review for the Thirsty Nickel
(formerly Uncle Flirty's though is not listed separately)
As expected, it was very crowded on a recent Saturday night, though we managed to find a place to sit at the bar behind the crowd (there was a mediocre cover band playing).
The atmosphere was alright, though my friend ordered a long island ice tea that was way too strong. I think this particular bartender was hired for her appearance rather than mixology skills.
In the future, I will skip this bar and find an alternative where one can have a conversation and a good drink.

AWSOME for drink specials!.
I LOVE coming to the thirsty nickel! I swear everytime me and my friends come we end up meeting some new friends. Go on Thursdays.....$2 u call its! Its a great place if u wanna drink and shake ur booty. The main bartender is hilarious and so nice! Great service, great music, great people. The only complaint is that it gets really crowded and its kinda hard to get to the bar to order ur drinks. Other than that, its awsome.

cheap, good music, awesome bar tenders.
The entire staff is great and very friendly, doormen included. The female bartenders are hot. 2 bars in the main room, quick drinks, Thursdays are awesome . It's not usually so crowded to where you can't even get to the bar, though it has its times like that. Most nights it has a good, and YOUNG crowd with a few oldies mixed in.

Great Bar.
This bar is fairly new but the vibe is great! A great bar where people from 21-75 years old hang out. They have a lot of jack daniels stuff around making you want to shoot whiskey all night! The staff is great, especially the little boy bartender who looks like he's 12. He definately has girls all over him; it's kinda funny! This bar is definately a staple to 6th street!

College students and other young Sixth Street fun-seekers keep this casual, two-story crowd-pleaser hopping..
In Short
Live music in the early evenings makes way for DJ-spun tunes late weekend nights, while clubgoers dance, drink and watch the occasional bachelorette dance on the bar. Formerly known as Uncle Flirty's, the laid-back, irreverent and exuberantly friendly bar features dark woods, colorful walls and four separate rooms. Holding up to 600 patrons, the bar is one of the largest venues on Sixth Street. Plasma screens feature games, bar videos or other showcased programming.
