BEST PLACE TO GO. I LOVED IT. Me and my best friend went here for spring break and it was WONDERFUL we had a fun time i thought the price for the things were fine as they were. We had friendly staff and good music! It wasnt full that day so we had more help and friendly tips! Perfect place to go for parties,catching up with friends, anything!

Great Kids Party and What a Great Value!. Friends recommended Cafe Monet for a fun kids Birthday party and WOW was I impressed! The staff were so helpful and friendly and the studio was so clean. My wife even said how she wished our house looked this tidy. LOL... Anyway, we've done lot's of other parties and this is definately my family's favorite. The kids painted some cool plates and all their friends said that this was "way cool." Kids are happy, Mom is happy, Dad's wallet is happy. (What a deal -- Cafe Monet was such a good value for money.) Thanks again Cafe Monet and your friendly staff -- we will definately be back soon to paint Christmas gifts!

Friendly, Helpful Staff but Very Overpriced. I was all excited to check this place out since I'd done this in Minnesota. I was very disappointed to see a very limited selection of choices and insanely high prices for the pieces that were twice that of what they cost in Minnesota. One plate was about $25-35! I got a frame to do a mosaic on and it was a small, super cheaply made, lightweight wood that had plastic instead of glass and it was $12! The larger frames, which were about equal quailty, were $35! The staff (including the owner) were very friendly and willing to help out and the store was very clean. I just won't be going back there due to the outrageously high prices.

Horrible experience hosting party - HORRIBLE. I don't like to leave negative feedback but we had the worst experience going to the Westgate location. The young woman that helped me book it was very nice.

However the day of the party the owner and other young woman that "helped" us host the party were both VERY rude to me, my husband, and they didn't even speak to my children. We walked in, they didn't speak to us, I introduced ourselves (they were VERY unfriendly). It was cold out so I asked the owner where our friends could put their coats. He didn't answer me. I asked to borrow a chair - he said no! He then directed me to put them on a very DUSTY cart! The young woman who was there to "help" was anything but helpful - I barely saw her.

I was almost in tears. I have no idea why they were so rude. It wasn't personal as it started the SECOND we walked in the door. I paid a lot of money (over $200) to go here.

I will NEVER step foot back in this place. I will tell all my friends. I didn't even want to give them ONE star. HORRIBLE. Go somewhere else!!!!

Child Friendly!. I have been bringing my art loving child since she was 2 years old. The staff is great with little kids and always willing to offer suggestions and ideas for projects. Cafe Monet is by far the most child friendly studio we have experienced in the Austin area! (It is also fun for us adults too:-)

Good music, happy fun family oriented place to be!. What a great way to spend some time getting "caught up" with your girlfriends or your children or your spouse! We live in such a busy time that it is rare to find 2-3 hours that allows you to do something creative and fun while you chat. You can go to the movies with a friend, but you don't get to chat there. You can go out to eat, but it is often noisy and hard to hear in restaraunts, and that just gets old! Everyone, young and old, will enjoy their time spent at Cafe Monet!

Something different, fun and creative!. Last night some girlfriends and I went to Cafe Monet for a night of getting creative. Lindsey helped us pick the piece we wanted and offered ideas and guidance on how to make the perfect piece of pottery! Cafe Monet is always BYOB so we brought in a few bottles of wine and snacks to have during our time at the studio. They also have a private room in the back for birthday parties, girls' nights and company events. I think we may get a bigger group together and get the room next time!

Awesome Ceramic Studio! Pottery Selection & Friendly staff were a treat! So Clean!. I had heard good things about Cafe Monet Studio from some friends. I decided to bring some girlfiends for a girls night out just to have fun and get creative. I was so impressed at the hugh selection of pottery to paint. The hardest thing was choosing what to paint! One of my friends tried the mosaics which she really liked. The studio was so clean and the staff very helpful and -- they knew their pottery stuff!

We all had a great time and can't wait to go back to Cafe Monet Studio!
