DON'T TAKE YOUR CHILD!!!!
by mimi18 at Citysearch
After today's visit I will never return. First of all it was HOT!!! We sweated buckets the whole time there. Secondly, the staff did not monitor play area and allowed the big kids & grown ups to roughhouse inside the moonwalks. My nephew got trampled. The staff did not enforce their policy of "no shoes on carpet". Many people wore shoes and even got in moonwalks with shoes on! Lastly, my husband lost his phone and a very honest person turned it in. When we went to retrieve phone, the staff had already turned it over to someone who claimed that it was their aunts. No attempt to confirm if phone really belonged to the thief!!! All he said was his aunt lost a red phone and staff just handed him the phone!
Not Worth the $

Had a party 5-1-10. Paid $275 for a party area. That was my first mistake. Second problem was the air conditioning or lack of. It was so hot 2 kids got sick. Complained twice to 3 teenagers working who weren't really working. They were sitting on the floor in the office (where there was air conditioning). Third problem, the employees didn't monitor the floor (because they were in the air conditioned office) at all while older kids (12-13) played tag. Fourth problem, one moonwalk was completely taken over by 4 moms who sat inside feeding their infants with a baby bottle. Very frustrating and costly experience. Won't go there again.
- Pros: Large Play area
- Cons: Expensive Party pkg and not worth the $
Don't even bother

The first strike was not having any staff available to let the older kids know not to trample toddlers on bounce houses clearly marked for kids under 5. In fact there only seemed to be staff at the front door.
The second and last strike for me was when I decided to give them a second chance on Sunday 11/8/09. I checked their hours as we were inviting a friend to join us for a playdate. No where on their seziure inducing site did it mention that this day they were closed till 2:30 for a private party. I drove all the way down there to be turned away at the door which made both my kids cry.
They don't care enough about their customers to communicate closures or keep them safe.
I will not bother again.
- Pros: Bounce houses
- Cons: not safe, no customer service
Goin' Bananas Playnasium-Owner Comments

Hi I am the owner of Goin' Bananas Playnasium and I appreciate everyone’s positive reviews and I have taken into account the parents concerns.
We have monthly meeting to address any issues that have been brought to my attention and I truely try make Goin' Bananas a fun, stress free, clean and safe place for family entertainment.
I've talked to our staff about helping parents watch out for the younger toddlers. We had some AC issues this summer. We have brought in lots of fans and have repaired the ACs that were not working. It feels great inside Goin' Bananas! Also, we still stive to be the cleanest party and play place in Austin Texas. I assure everyone that we do clean all of our inflatables and all toys everyday! We've added lots of new items... inflatables, toys, kitchen area and a little dress up nook coming soon! Hope you come play with us really soon!
Fun for kids of all ages

I took my 16 month old boy and he had so much fun. I will bring him back!
But I was worried about the staffs lack of atention on what was going on. I was watching my kid but other moms were just sitting back and letting there kids run wild. I had to stop older kids from getting into the baby play zone.
otherwise it was tons of cheep fun!!!!
It is great for a rainy day or a hot or cold day.
- Pros: Your kiddo will be tired after
- Cons: needs a staff to care more
