We dined at the new Mama Fu's at the Triangle the other night and I have to say, it was superb. The atmosphere was subdued (not noisy) like the other person said and the service was very good. We are die-hard PF Chang's fans but will be going here more often as the menu is almost identical and the quality IS identical... but the price is not!! Mama Fu's is very affordable and gets high marks from us!
Pros: great quality for great price
Cons: need more gluten free menu items

First time we went, the Basil Thai was good. The place is noisy, supposedly reflecting a "fun" atmosphere. The second time, the fun clerk at the counter had me repeat our order 4 or 5 times and she still got it all backwards. Ordered Basil Thai again without red peppers and what we got was Red Thai noodles and sauce--period! N o vegetables subsituted or anything else! The General Fu had 4 miniscule broccoli flowerettes, which were soggy and past their prime. It was all TOGO, so it was discovered too late. We won't give them a chance again.
