Don't Waste Your Money!!. I went to the Galleria location on 9July2011, and I got pink eye from their eye pad they use during the massage, the cloth kind with the warming rice beads inside. When I spoke to management about it, a Ms. Rogers offered to make it right for my next visit (why would I go back when I got a communicable disease there?) They did not even offer me my money back, they did not place a towel between my eyes and the pad (as is their protocol) and they put the eye pad back into the cabinet (management told me that they autoclave the device, or sterilize it between uses, which was a lie). I would not recommend them to ANYONE, and I have already reported them to the Texas State Health Department. Save your money, and protect yourselves. Erica Jackson, BSN RN

Best Lakeway/Bee Caves/Dripping Springs spa. For those of us who live quite far west of Bee Cave, let me take the guesswork out of finding the right spa for you.

I tried the Spa at the Lake in Lakeway which had gotten rave reviews from friends, as well as Massage Envy, etc.

None compared to Milk & Honey. Just sitting in the lounge can relax you more than some places' massages! Then you have the option of couples massages, individual, various types. My husband and I have never had a bad massage there, and we have had at least 3 different masseuses - and deep tissue massages at that (I've found more varying degrees of quality with these). Add to that the serenity of the ambiance and the care they take, even the thickness of the robes....this is worth the few extra bucks. It's a vacation in town!

Best Mani-Pedi in Town. Gaby is absolutely the best. She is excellent. I've never had my pedi's last longer than a week, but with Gaby I can go 3 weeks they are that good. This is the only place I go to now for my nail treatments as a result. Sure it's more expensive than the corner nail salon, but you definitely get what you pay for here.

The facials by Jennifer are also amazing. She really knows her skin.

could not be happier. If you are looking for someone that does amazing eyebrows, lip, face waxing, Jennifer W. is amazing. She is very knowledgeable about skin and always does a fantastic job with my brows...never too thin, which I love. I would highly recommend her to anyone and do to everyone I know!

Better than anticipated. I tried M&H at the Galleria and was so pleasantly surprised. I expected good but the massage I got was great! I highly recommend Shannon. Best massage ever! I am looking forward to being able to go back.

Loved It!. Just finally went into M&H at the Galleria, what a treat! Had the best facial, the basic MH facial is fine for me. Atmosphere is wonderful, not stuffy at all, a little serene sanctuary in the middle of the mall. I've already been back and scheduled another treatment, now I'm hooked!

New Favorite. I have been to several spas around Austin, but never to M+H. I went to the Hill Country location yesterday, and I really like this place. For being fairly new, they really seem to have it together. The front desk person was very courteous and helpful on the phone and when I arrived. The interior is very relaxing - nice decor and layout without being busy or overdone. And seriously, you need to check out the massage with Courtney. I was looking for a mix of relaxation and muscle recovery and, after discussing it with me attentively, she provided exactly that. One of the best combinations of light and deep work I can remember. It can seem a little pricey, but I feel that I got a very good value based on the massage and general customer treatment, which is a premium in itself in this town. I will definitely go back!

Great Experience!. Just returned home from a wonderful massage from Ben. My entire experience, from my initial phone call to paying upon completion...was very positive! The staff was very professional and contributed to the entire zen-like setting in which the spa was trying to portray. Ben was a fantastic masseuse! It is the perfect, relaxing environment to enjoy with your friends and make a day of it! The customer service and attention to detail make Milk + Honey Spa the perfect oasis. Thank you!

Best manicure/pedicure I've had in Austin. Very sanitary. They don't reuse buffers and emory boards. Each person gets a new set. Metal tools (clippers, etc,) are sanitized in a machine and sealed in a package before their next use. Even the parafin is poured in a bag rather than having you stick your foot or arm in a basin. You pay more but I think it is worth it because of the above. I've had the manicures last a week and the pedicures last over a month.

NOT SO MUCH........ I REALLY LOVE LIVING IN AUSTIN B/C I LIKE THE EASY GOING ATMOSPHERE AND THIS PLACE DOES NOT FIT IN TO THAT. THEY THINK THEY ARE IN NEW YORK OR LA OR SOMEWHERE, ESPECIALLY WITH THEIR PRICES. MY NAILS CHIPPED 2 DAYS AFTER I GOT A MANICURE AND MY MASSAGE WAS NOT RELAXING NOR RELIEVING. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

I am terribly sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your massage and that your polish chipped so quickly! Please contact Caryl at caryl@milkandhoneyspa.com or 512.236.1115, so we can talk more with you and fix the situation. We truly want to make you happy!

I'm also sad to hear you didn't feel the Austin love at milk + honey. Its a homegrown Austin spa, staffed with nice happy people. We welcome any feedback you have to the contrary! We always appreciate candid feedback!

Please take us up on the offer to make it up to you.
