Worst Contractor Experience Ever - Don't get taken by Steve Jones. Hired Steve to make new cabinet doors for my kitchen. Signed contract on Oct 1, 2008. Contract stated that he would start on Oct 3rd and be finished by Oct 9th. From the beginning he kept putting us off to work on other projects. When he finally did bring some doors over, they were much darker than we had all agreed on. Not only that, but all of the bottom cabinet doors were cut too short. He would only come work on our project every once in awhile. It's now the end of January 2009 and we are still left with an unfinished kitchen and missing doors. Some doors rub, some even overlap. He has no attention to detail. Just last week he tells me that he's no longer going to work on my cabinets. Now I'm having to file a small claims case to try and get some of my deposit back. Do yourself a favor and look for another contractor.

Great craftsmanship, honest, and very reasonable prices. Steve and Marilyn are the kind of folks you'd like to sit down and have a beer with and they do excellent quality work. They built and installed a base cabinet to match my 27-yr old set, not an easy task but it matches superbly. They also spruced up the end pieces of the existing cabinets with overlays and stained those to match as well. I'm really pleased with the results. In a couple of years when I plan to replace all of the cabinets, I won't hesitate to call them again.

Excellent work. Easy to work with. Fair prices!. This is the second time I've worked with Steve and Marilyn. The first time they added to (and matched) my existing cabinets perfectly! Had creative suggestions, and were very particular about the finished product.

They're also easy going and fun to work with.

This time they redid my counter tops and back splash. They had great design ideas. And their estimates always came in lower than everyone else.

And again, the workmanship was excellent.

I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any job!
