Cool store. I went here to buy a home theater system and I was very impressed with Modia. I shopped around a few other stores and I was finally able to find a system that I fell in love with. The staff was very knowledgable and the crew that came to my house were very professional and nice. I love my new remote!! Thanks guys!

Other companies can extend a warranty up to 5 extra years!!!!. The comment below bothers me about her warranty problems...

Advanced A/V Solutions can Extend any person's Manufacturers Warranty for up to an additional 5 years!!! Even if the product wasn't purchased through there company!

call them to protect your investment!!!

Worst customer service !!. I will highly discourage anyone from buying from Modia, simply because it was formerly known as Home Theatre Store. Modia has origenated from a company that dosen't stand behind their product. I have a TV right now that was not properly fault diagnosed by their warranty company. They will not fix it now because the warranty expired a few days after they misdiagnosed it. This would have been a very minor issue for them to fix. I can only imagine how they would handle bigger issues. If there was a choice I wouldn't even rate it one star.

It would have been a better decision to improve upon the customer service issues as opposed to change the company name.

Great Store + Helpful Staff. The store is one of the most unique in Austin. It?s a blend of a high end furniture store and an electronics store. This place definitely has some cool tech. Keman, the guy who helped me, was very informative on some of the latest and greatest in home theater. I really liked that he took the time to explore the options with me, and actully knew the products. I will definitely check back with them once my home is near completion.
