What were they thinking?. I went to this place because of the high ratings on here but was sorely disappointed at the quality of food. We tried the lunch buffet to get an idea of how their food tastes like, and it was very bland, with super thin gravies and not much spice to any of it. It was very sad, as we have been to almost all the Indian restaurants in Austin, and only 1 place rates authentic (Teji's in Round Rock). Too bad it's like super far if you live in the south. You will see mostly Indian people eating at Teji's, and their curries are very rich and spicy, as North Indian should be. I have been all over the world and eaten Indian food, and this is farthest from what I know. The best place to eat Indian outside Africa and India for North Indian food is definitely in Houston!!!

Flavorful, fresh, delightful. Affordable!. The food very flavorful and delightful. The desserts are very nice. I have had only good experiences in my 10 or so lunch visits to this restaurant. The buffet is very good and reasonably priced. Seating area probably sits about 50 patrons, so get there early. They also do "to go" orders if you want to pick up and take home for evening. CAUTION: If you are lactose intolerant like me, be sure to take your meds with you as the curries (sauces) and cream spinach may cause you discomfort later.

YOU REALLY NEED TO EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten in! These guys have impecable customer service and maintain consistency in their food quality everyday. Their buffet is one of the few buffets Ive seen where the food is nothing short of amazingly fresh. A good way to tell if you're at the right place for Indian food is seeing the hordes of Indian people that pack this place everyday. Reddy is the name of the chef. He's been cooking authentic Indian cuisine for 17 years. He became a friend of mine after I found myself in his restaurant almost everyday when I lived in Austin. His restaurant is new and amazing. Im so glad he finally got it on citysearch. Try the "chicken 65" for real. Funny name but the dish originated in a hotel in the city of Chennai in the Tamil region of India. IT WILL MAKE YOUR HEAD SPIN!!!!
