Don't use this guy. Patt Daugherty will rob you blind!!!!! He makes promises that are too good to be true and believe me they are!!!!! He will do nothing but lie to you day in and day out, that is if you can get him to return a call. Worst experience I have ever had and I would not wish this on my worst enemy.......so PLEASE go somewhere else to do your business. Hopefully one day he will be paid back for cheating people out of their hard earned money.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Would not ever recommend this guy. There is not one good thing about this pool builder. He will lie, lie, and lie again. Don't go with this guy for anything!!!! He stole a lot of money from me and others and I am 100% sure he will do it to you if you go with him. He will under bid to get the job and then will get the pool going and then just stop communicating with you in hopes that you will just get someone else to finish it, while he drives a brand new BMW with the money he steals from you.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS GUY. HE WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING HELL. He will con you into going with him by giving you false promises......does not matter what is in the contract.....he will not do you right. He screwed us out of a lot of money and my goal is to hopefully keep this from happening to anyone else. Please go with someone other than this guy.

Do NOT use this guy....he will rip you off!!!!! Wish I had reviews like this before I used him. He is a con-artist and very good at selling you a pool, but he WILL NOT follow through on his promises. Please go with another pool builder.

The Worst - Lies Lies Lies. I would give it a 0 if that was an option. After a year of lies I had to finish the pool myself. A sea of lies and and broken promises. Pay the extra and get a legitimate pool builder. I know of 6 or 7 sub contractors that have not been paid. He will under bid the competition and win the job only to have the sub contractors not show due to non-payment on other jobs. THE WORST EVER

Horrible Experience. We hired Liquid Dreams Pools to build our pool a year ago. The inital design and start of the project went great. Once we encountered problems, it went down hill. We have numerous oustanding repair items that have been discssed with the owner, Patt Daugherty, but have yet to be completed. We are having to hire an attorney to address the oustanding issues.

Use at your own Risk!. Look at the dates on all of the reviews and look for the pattern. A lot of great reviews over a short period of time, and none since. He's got a guy FROM 2009 giving him 5 star reviews to compensate for all the bad ones he's getting now! How is that not a plant?? I wish there was a way to put zero stars. I signed a contract with Patt Daugherty on June 22nd, and my pool is still not complete. He completely misrepresented himself and his company, and has outright lied to me so many times that I've lost track. He lied to get my money, and then referred me to his lawyer when he wouldn't deliver. I've had to contract and complete items myself that were covered in the contract (big items like running the gas line) because time and time again, Patt scheduled and then never showed up. I'm talking about months, and this is still going on. Use this company at your own risk. Liquid Dreams has no rating with the BBB because of all of the complaints. This has been a total nightmare, with every inch of progress smeared with misrepresentations and lies and there is no end in sight.

Nightmare of a Pool builder!. I can sympathize with KC's review! I too had the worst experience with this "Pool Builder"! He is actually just a Con Artist! He will Lie to you to make you believe he knows what he is doing and that he can complete your pool project in a minimal amount of time! He is really good at this Con! Please do not let him take you the way he took me! I believed his Con and now I'm out big bucks and have nothing but a hole in the ground in my backyard, to show for it! I've filed complaints with the Travis Co. DA's office and will probably get in line with others who also have Judements against him! He has NUMEROUS breach of contract judgements against him listed on the Travis Co ! Don't let him lure you into scamming you out of your money! BEWARE of this Con Artist!

Patt Daugherty = Con Artist. This has got to be one of the worse experiences I have ever had with a contractor. This Loser claimed to have turned over a new leaf and was a reformed alcholic / drug addict and that he had learned from the error of his ways, of ripping people off! Why did I believe him? He Took my money for the first & second stages of my pool project and then after digging a hole, never showed up again! He left without paying the sub's who dug the hole and installed the re-bar. He never got inspections completed on the Layout, with the City of Austin, so I had that to deal with also! Patt Daugherty is a NIGHTMARE not a dream! Please heed this warning! Do Not Contract with him..you will be VERY sorry! The positive reviews on this website have to be BOGUS! He has a Huge liteny of Judgements against him. Check out Liquiddreamssucks(dot)com to see the list. Also Rip-Off Report. He was featured on MyFoxAustin with Seven on your side about a Pool Builder Nightmare!

Liquid Dream Pools Austin, Texas. We had our Pool built in 2009 by Patt and his crew. Patt stay true to his 30 day swim policy. The pool was finished and looks great after 3 years. Patt a great person to work with and knows his stuff.

He came out to lay out the pool and we have a small backyard. He had designed a great layout but when we start to lay it out it was not working so on the fly he made changes to it and it worked out a lot better. We love the outdoor kitchen and frig.

Most of the pool builders want to just sell out a standard pool. For the same price we got a waterfall, spa, stain concrete deck and the outdoor kitchen.

If I move and need to build another pool I will defiantly go back to Patt.
