Terrible layers. I thought with her "hair sculpter" advertising in Rare that someone so confident would have the ability to back it up. I told her that I was growing my fine hair out and I didn't want to lose any length. She gave me these horrible "mushroom layers" that I didn't fully notice until I was brushing my hair at home. Now I still go to Hairy Situations but I don't see her. I'm undoing the hideous damage one haircut at a time. Also she is really silent and doesn't smile. My male friend had a similar experience and was convinced that she hated him. She did a pretty good job on my color, although it wasn't complicated highlights or anything. All I can say is NOT RECOMMENDED unless you want 90s layers.

best hair colorist in austin. I have spent the last few years trying to find an affordable hair colorist in Austin who could make my hair color look natural yet still have highlights. I finally found that person with Brooke! After my latest debacle in which the prior colorist put an unflattering red color in my hair, a friend recommended that I call Brooke. She totally fixed the color by taking the red out and leaving me with a color and highlights that were completely flattering to my skin color. I highly recommend Brooke for color, highlights, and haircuts too. I have had lots of compliments on my hair for the first time in years!

Best hair extensions. I've never had extensions before, so i was wary of how real they would look and how good they would feel...Im beyond impressed by Brooke's expertise... my extensions are seamless and have held up very well after travel, abuse/styling etc.....no body could tell that its wasn't all mine... im addicted to them now thanks to Brooke :) If you are looking for high end, amazing long hair and don't want to wait for it to grow ... or you have fine hair and always wanted thick pretty hair, like i did) give Ms. Ellington a call.

oh, and she great with maintenance too..color etc...
