Best gift shop. This is my new favorite shop in Austin - good luck visiting without buying something. And the gift-wrapping is so simple and beautiful you'll be tempted to have even the items you buy for yourself wrapped.

Best New Find. Love, love, love this place. When I travel, I am forever scouring shops for unique, can't find any where else goodies... And to have stumbled across the perfect little shop right here in Austin! So fun.

Even better, everything I picked up was half the price I would have expected. I guess it is because the only place I've experienced shops like this is NY, LA, Chicago... The girls that run the place are friendly and knowledgeable. Say, "I'm just looking" and they will let you do just that, but ask one question and you'll be surprised how enthusiastic and informed they are about every item in the shop.

beautiful gifts. This is the best place to satisfy my cravings for beautiful Roost items, among other things, for my home. Everything I've bought has become a treasure to me. Great gift wrapping; and the easy parking is a bonus.

Beautiful gifts you won't find anywhere else in austin.. Spartan is a lovely experience...you will get caught perusing through all kinds of unusual objects, like jewelry, dishes, perfumes, books, and cards...all at very affordable prices. You won't find these carefully chosen items anywhere else in austin, maybe not even in texas. And you will naturally get sucked through the doorway into the beautiful clothing store next door called Bows + Arrows.

A beautiful and original shop.... I've already bought two gifts--an elegant cannister of tea for my mom on Mother's Day--and two very cool and very unique pillowcases by an Australian artist for a wedding--here. The owner has not only stocked the spare shelves with brilliant things, that are hard to find or ingenious or gorgeous, but she'll help you sort through them to find the exactly right gift, and wrap it in a modern and striking way. This is a sure bet; there is nothing in here that is less than fabulous, as opposed to many boutiques who might carry good stuff but are bloated with not-so-great stuff too that is often a bit over-priced. The space itself is amazing--clean lines and good atmosphere.

Great gift options- realistic prices. Definately worth your while if you are doing the SOLA (South Lamer)shopping circuit. Great gift options at reasonable prices. We went recently and got an age/price appropriate graduation gift and the owner wrapped it beautifully for us.

The perfect gift store . Masculine and Feminine.. This store has an amazing well edited collection of things for the home, gifts for that special someone or someone that is hard to buy for, weddings gifts, books, office stuff....It's chock full of great finds. I never leave empty handed.

Outstanding gift selection. Thoughtfully-selected gifts including reusable shopping totes, great handbags, glassware, serveware and art make SPARTAN the perfect place to pick up a present for the person that has everything.

World traveler treasure trove. Finally that gift shop where you can find that which you didn't know you were looking for. Unique stationary from Japan. Modern lighting from NYC. Simple candles from exotic origins. Spartan delivers those precious gifts that feel molded by hand and far from the main stream. You'll never show up to a birthday party worrying that someone else might bring the same gift again. Although it's narrow shop space might not look to offer a great deal from the sidewalk, just step inside and you'll find the space dense with a variety of goods. The shop is easy to miss as you're walking past though, as the sign in the glass is very subtle. Excellent service and gift wrapping is much appreciated.

Cool stuff at lots of prices. I love Spartan because it has beautiful, thoughtful merchandise and a wide range of prices. It's a great place to find gifts for just about anyone who likes good looking stuff.
