Excellent Food - Best Service. Best food in town. Went with family for the first time. We were welcomed by a lady with a smile and gave us menus. In no time a server came with papad and mint and tamarind chutney. In about three mintues server came and took our order. We ordered samosa for appetizer. Atmosphere was nice with instrumental music. We got our food in about 10 minutes. I ordered chicken tikka masala and my wife ordered a dosa. Food was excellent and service was good. We stayed for about 40 minutes and we were asked three times if everything was ok. I definitely recommend to go by and try at least once. We got $5 Off coupon with $25 food purchase on next trip.
Good weekday buffet and great off the menu!. We tend to visit this place about once a week and it is consistently good. The buffet is small, but has good variety and awesome veg. Have only ever ordered off the menu on evenings and weekends, but the food is always great. Try the Gobi65 but be prepared for the heat. I have tried this dish at several places and Rangoli's is by far the best. The Lamb Vindaloo is also a favorite.
Editorial Review. Rangoli Indian Grill serves flavorful, Indian food, full of freshness and authenticity.
Good lunch buffet in the Tech Ridge area.
This new restaurant offers a tasty lunch buffet for under $10. The wide variety of foods make this a place to go with friends. There's something for everyone. When I went, meat options included: chicken tikka masala, chili chicken, tandoori chicken, fried fish, and lamb jalfrezi. 5 hot vegetables were also available, in addition to the fresh fruit and salads. If you like rice, chicken biryaniand a yellow, herb rice were both available as well. A basket of Naan is brought to your table, so it's always piping hot and fresh.
That atmosphere is above average for a buffet. The decor is attractive, tables are spaced out well, and you get cloth napkins. I've been to Rangoli 4 times now, and I'll definitely eat there again.
COLD BUFFET TO GO WITH WARM WATER ANYONE?. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. it was saturday afternoon and they were serving lunch buffet and there was only one couple having food. we got our plate with food and starting eating and realized the food was very cold, the idlis were iceY cold and we brought this to the waiters attention and they check ed the buffet switch and realized that it was never turned on. it was 1.00 in the afternoon and I was saying to myself eating here have no taste buds . The waiter turned the switch on and said it would take 20 min to warm up. we did not wait for the hot food. however they did charge us for buffet since we had plate on the table with cold food. no one came to ask how is the food or if we wanted more water, we had to waive our hand to get their attention ,there are about 4 televisions in teh restaurant to entertain the waiters and they were busy watching aishwarya rai and forgot about us , the customer .Finally the water was served and yeah it was warm. they do oppossite in this hotel serve warm water and serve cold food. THERE WAS NO APOLOGY FROM ANY ONE OF THEM. bad service and laziness or you can say they care less about their job AND THE RESTAURANT. Indian restaurants in AUSTIN have no quality, they r here just to grab money from people with tasteless food.
