Galaxy Cafe - at least once a week!. Galaxy is my favorite restaurant and it's rare that I don't eat there at least once a week. I So respect their efforts to serve locally-grown food and very healthy food, like their hormone-free, natural beef for burgers, along with turkey burgers and veggies burgers.

My favorite is the fish wrap, which I've tried at 3 other local restaurants. Galaxy's is outstanding. Their grilled skirt steak w/ chimichurri sauce is divine. I savor every bite. A friend loves their ASIAN SEARED TUNA SALAD. The brownies and choc. torte are excellent. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Charge $1 extra for to-go? What a scam!!!. Just went there for breakfast and got a mysterious charge that was no-where to be found on the menu...a $1 packaging fee. I asked and they said it was a "packaging fee." They were firm on it and being with co-workers, I didn't push the issue, but all in my group thought it was BS and won't return. It may be relatively insignificant amount but it is entirely unprofessional. There are plenty of other restaurants in the triangle area to give your business to.

bland. limited menu. Food on the whole is quite bland & undersauced. However, it is cheap. service is nice.

They do let you order quite a lot of combinations. Their pasta salad is good.

I would recommend the West Lynn location for kids - easier parking & it has a outdoor seating area (though it overlooks the parking lot).

The Triangle gets the third location of this hip and casual self-serve cafe.. In Short
Maintaining this South Austin favorite's signature casual counter service and retro décor, expect Galaxy Café to fit perfectly alongside its Triangle counterparts. Mod lighting, cool music and splashes of chrome and red make the dining room seem hipper than the average casual eatery. The menu remains the same with classic breakfasts and speedy lunches including favorites like hearty chimichurri steak and pesto portabello wraps, entrée-sized salads, sandwiches and Angus burgers (go for the sweet potato fries on the side). Dinner highlights include creative daily specials like homemade turkey meatloaf and grilled mahi mahi. Special children's menus are also available.
