WONDERFUL!

I live in Austin and instead of traveling out of town for a getaway weekend, I took my wife to KimberModern in downtown Austin. What a great decision - it was the best of all worlds: modern, comfortable, cozy, quite, beautiful, incredible location, etc, etc, etc!!!!! The bathroom in the suite is simply stunning!
A special thanks to Kimber for having the vision for this property, the great taste to appoint the property with the best of the best in modern appointments, and for making a romantic getaway weekend here in Austin the best it could have possibly been anywhere.

An urban oasis

For someone who travels all the time, this place was a true find. The open spaces, the unique design, the comfort. I loved this place.

Boutique among warehouses

This place is the bomb! Finally someone gets it right! Perfect design -- subtle, restful, pleasing, comfortable -- comfort everywhere! The chairs, the bed, the shower, the hammock.. peaceful.
The staff -- cordial and cool.
The no key facility -- so friggin' easy to deal with.
The location -- one block from SoCo and TOTALLY QUIET. Can't get better than that. You're in the thick of it and yet you walk through the door to the KM and you are back to your peaceful haven.
It is the perfect, perfect place for a small group of travelers to stay together or for the individual who doesn't want to get lost in a huge hotel. It's personable and plush.
It deserves six stars!

Don't miss First Thursday to get the most out of your South Congress experience. On the first Thursday of each month, local businesses stay open late and the crowds come out for this casual neighborhood event.
The Extras:
Do a little SoCo neighborhood sightseeing on the Orange 'Dillo bus. The free service runs every 10 minutes between South Congress at Barton Springs and South Congress at Live Oak from 6:30pm until 11pm.
