Service is lightning quick as you're greeted at the door with a friendly face and stack of menus. Standard offerings include fresh shrimp or tofu spring rolls and tiny, crispy fried egg rolls that are best when wrapped with lettuce before dipping. Standouts here include the Vietnamese sandwiches called banh mi served with pickled vegetables and meat on a crisp baquette, vermicelli noodle bowls with your choice of meat, and the namesake Vietnamese noodle soup (pho) that's been known to cure the common cold. Small is generally more than enough to feed one, heaped with meat, noodles and fresh veggie condiments.
