What Our Expert Scouts Say

Tomunchi Frozen Yogurt

Excellent self serve neighborhood yogurt spot that is delicious, and family friendly. They have a wide variety of yogurt flavors and delicious toppings. The owner is super friendly and prices are very reasonable. Try the popping boba (like jelly gushers).

best place ever!!!. Several flavors and some that rotate: kiwi, mango, strawberry, taro, heath toffee, chocolate, white chocolate, NY cheesecake and many more.

Tons of awesome toppings: craisins, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, honey, granola, almonds, peanuts, walnuts, sprinkles, kiwi, mango, strawberries, blackberries, grapes, cheesecake, blueberries, pineapple

Everything is great. They charge 39 cents an ounce. Very affordable and they are open pretty late.

Yummy. I've been to Tomunchi once and I was impressed. There were several flavors to choose from and I sampled them all. The mango and strawberry taste very fresh and fruity. There are also more unusual flavors like soursop, taro, and plain tart which were all tasty as well. There are also the old standby flavors like chocolate and vanilla. I love the fact that they change the flavors periodically and that you can mix and match as many flavors as you want in one serving bowl.

The staff was very friendly, too. I always feel better about supporting a business that believes in treating their customers well.

Lame. First off, they charge you by the pound..wtf. Secondly, so not impressed with their paltry topping selection. Their yogurt was way below average...it had kind of an over sweet tart taste. Sorely disappointed!

Great value..friendly staff. Great value with lots of "mix-in"options. The staff is very nice and stay open as long as people are comming in. They also change the flavors often and offer sample cups with out the "cold stone/ tcby attitude" if you know what I mean? :)

check it out!

Choose your own toppings at this family-owned frozen yogurt shop in North Austin for a waistline-friendly dessert.. In Short
Expect a décor as clean and crisp as the low-fat frozen yogurt flavors. The process is a familiar one-grab a cup, pick any combination of frozen yogurt flavors from the half dozen soft serve machines, add your toppings and then the whole thing gets weighed on the scale for 39 cents per ounce. Flavors rotate daily, with standouts including the authentically tart plain yogurt, strawberry, chocolate and mango. You can go either way with toppings, opting for healthier fresh fruit and granola or more sundae-like add-ins like chocolate bars, candy and sweets.
