I loved my facial!. I received my first European facial at Fusion MedSpa. I loved that she asked me questions about my skin before she got started. She will tailor the facial to your skin type. I can't wait to go back!

Great for Skincare. Dr. Pliego is very peronable and does a great job. I first had a consultation not knowing exactly what I wanted, just to look younger. In the consultation, she explained some of the things that she could do to help and not once did I feel uncomfortable. Needless to say, I went through with her recommendations, and when I look at pictures now versus a year ago I see a very noticeable difference. Thank you Dr!!

Top Notch Results!. I had a great experience at Fusion MedSpa. I've never had anything done to my skin (besides waxing and facials).I started with a micropeel which I loved! It really exfoliated my skin and left me with smooth and radiant skin. My makeup went on so great after my micropeel. My face looked flawless!

I’ve also had Botox Cosmetic at Fusion. I’m very young and don’t have wrinkles yet, but I have very strong brow muscles and I wanted to try Botox as a preventative so that my strong frown lines don’t turn into wrinkles before I’m 30! I liked the results. Botox relaxed my muscles and didn’t leave me with a frozen face (a misconception that I had about Botox).

Fusion carries clinical skincare lines that I have grown to love and can’t live without. I have really seen a difference in my skin since I’ve been using the skincare products and my Clarisonic PRO. My skin is oily and my Clarisonic brush has made such a difference in my skin.

Trust Dr. Pliego and Debra!. I saw the recent writeup of Fusion in Georgetown View and decided to give them a try. There was a mild, fresh scent when I walked in and relaxing music playing softly. The furniture and decor is beautiful. The receptionist was friendly yet professional. I went in for a consultation with Dr. Pliego (it was free). It was supposed to be for 30 mts but she spent 45 mts with me going over various treatment options and answering all my questions (I'm very thorough and anal!). She seems to really know her stuff. I felt comfortable knowing a doctor is the owner and is onsite all the time.

Fusion seems to be like a doctor's office but in a spa setting. No new age, trendy treatments. I think I'll start with a micropeel and see how that goes. I also booked a facial for my husband for Father's Day. I'll report after our appointments. I can't wait!

UPDATE:

I just had a micropeel with Debra and I loved it. I was nervous at first since I've only had a facial before (and that was years ago--pre kids). I always had the impression that a microdermabrasion would hurt. And a chemical "peel" sounded very scary. But my birthday is coming up and and I need a confidence booster!

Debra was great about making me feel comfortable and I really appreciated how she explained everything to me before she did it. She used the lowest setting on the microderm and it didn't hurt at all. It felt a little strange--she said like a cat liking your face and I think that's right. I told her I have sensitive skin so she used the lightest peel and assured me that she'd look for any signs of reaction but that I can also let her know if I want her to take it off. But I just felt a slight tingley feeling. She put layers of peels and masks on me (I don't remember the exact ones) and massaged it in which felt really good.

Afterwards my skin looked so clean and glowing. And I felt YEARS YOUNGER I have a wedding to go to in a few months so I think I'll go back to Debra every few weeks until the wedding and see if I get any responses.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FUSION MED SPA AND DEBRA!!!

BTW, I ended up getting my husband a Clarisonic cleansing system for Father's Day and he loves it! I ended up buying my own brush head so I can use it too. I love it too. It cleans your face so well it's incredible. Now if I skip using it it's like I skipped brushing my teeth. The Clarisonic is well worth the money (and the one Fusion sells is the Pro version that has an extra speed than the one at Sephora and other places). Try it cuz you'll love it!

I've Done the Research and I Chose Fusion. I did my research before going to Fusion and here's what I found: Dr. Pliego is an M.D. with a passion for all things "skin" (in addition to my own research about her, I found info about this in a recent article in Georgetown View). This is her personal business and she is the one who does all the medical hands-on treatments (I really appreciate that. Many places I've been have non medical people delivering treatments. At those places, the M.D.'s presence seems to simply be a license on the wall). Her clients who I have talked to are happy with their results (several friends went to her before I did and I talked to them before going to see her). Her prices are also reasonable and she does not charge a physician's fee, (although I'll admit I'd pay more if I had to to ensure that a doctor was the one working on me). So far at Fusion I've had IPL on my face, neck and hands; microderm (medical grade, unlike most places I've been), Botox, fillers, and I'm strongly considering the Co2 Laser treatment on my face. I've been very happy with my results, so I'll be sticking with Fusion.

Just so you know, the only reason I'm writing such a long and detailed review is because I'm a seasoned med spa client who has had many treatments done at many places - with some good results, and some not so good. I've learned what to look for at at med spa.
