Delicious hot, fresh cookies

After reading that you could create your own cookie, I was totally intrigued by the Cookie Lounge. We went there this evening and had the most lovely experience. You pick your dough and up to 3 mix ins, and can actually watch them prepare your special cookie. Then you wait while absorbing the delicious smell and waahlaah, you have fresh, warm/hot cookies! The cookies themselves were so flavorful and unique--I loved the lemon with blueberry, it even smelled just like lemon cake. I'm not a milk drinker, but you can also create your own flavored milk here! If you enjoy cookies and don't mind waiting for them, this place is a must. It's a bit hard to find, it really is on 22 1/2 Street, but once you find it, you've found a gem!
- Pros: You can create your own cookies, and eat them piping hot!
- Cons: The place is hard to find, you have to wait for the cookies

I have made 4 trips to the cookie lounge and have yet to be disappointed. Their selection is amazing and the concept is well executed. I'm hooked on the vanilla sweet cream cookies with the caramel bits.
My only suggestion is that when ordering a half dozen or dozen, to put each cookie in a wrapper before putting it in the box. By the time I got home, the cookies had cooled (expected with the drive) but they had melded together in one great big gooey, yummy glob. That's ok for a single person, but for someone taking something back to work, it wouldn't not have worked out so well.
- Pros: Great cookies!
- Cons: Place is hard at first and parking can be a challenge

I recently had a cookie from the Cookie Lounge. It was warm and full of M & Ms and really big! It was the perfect thing to satisfy that mid-afternoon sweet tooth! If only I had a glass of milk to go with it! Next time! And there will definitely be a next time!
