Try the Saki Margarita. A very unique way of drinking saki. I now crave this drink. I would highly recommend trying it. Fresh lime juice and the saki is chilled instead of traditionally warm. It goes well with the freshest sushi in town. Fresh fish is flown in every day on site.

This place is no good!. Service is slow, rude, and unorganized. We were seated at the sushi bar and had to flag the hostess to get a server to take our drink order. Then we had to flag the sushi chief to get a server again for soy sauce and dishes. On the second visit, management had the bartender acting as a server...the hostess seated us in the "bar" area explaining that we could take advantage of the "happy hour" pricing. What we didn't know was that we were in the bar area and thus service would suffer because no real wait staff was on duty. The bartender was used as a server and he had no interest in providing service or taking food orders. The sad thing was that the two tables next to us, in the same bar area, had a server. These tables were seated AFTER us and got their food and were finished before we were served any food. Our service suffered terribly, it was 50 minutes before our food came out, we were at the breaking point and about to leave as the food was delivered, however one of the items ordered came out incorrect. The bartender had no interest in addressing the issue and mumbled that our food would be delayed another “10 minutes”. That was the last straw. I explained that we had already waited 50 minutes; I was informed that he was only the “bartender”. Our table was stunned; we received no attention during our 50 minute wait and now we were being informed that our service staff was only the “bartender”. We left, but not before my husband spoke to the “manager”, the on site manager basically told my husband that we were in the “bar area” and should not have expected service had we been seated in the other area of the restaurant. No apologies for the poor service, the hostess seating us in the “wrong” area for dinner, our food taking 50 minutes…this situation was basically our fault. We give this restaurant 6 months and they will be out of business. We have no interest in giving this place another chance.

Phenomenal!!. We are frequent sushi eaters! :-)) This is our favorite place so far. The food is amazing! We too have not had a bad meal yet at Hayashi! The interior is nice, wait staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. There is a DJ on some nights, I would NOT recommend going there then, the music is super loud and distasteful in my opinion for a sushi restaurant.

Some of the best sushi I've ever had. I've gone to the Hayashi in Cedar Park many times and I haven't had a bad meal yet. All of the waiters that I've had have been so nice and helpful, especially when I can't decide on what I want to eat. I've even asked to sushi chefs to make me something crazy cool and it always taste great.

If you ever in Cedar Park I would definatly recommend going to Hayashi.

Cedar Park Japanese restaurant and lounge enlivens the suburbs with creative sushi and DJ's spinning on the weekends.. In Short
Executive chef and owner Cheng Lin brings the second location of his trendy Hayashi to Cedar Park. Strip mall setting aside, the restaurant brings an elegant dining option to the suburbs with cool blues and nature-based murals complemented by sliding screen window coverings and ultra modern accents. The menu focuses on fresh ingredients (including house-made soy sauce) for the Japanese fusion dishes like Chef Lin's Kobe beef sliders on Hawaiian sweet rolls, spicy tuna tartar tacos, mango Chilean seabass and a popular concotion called sushi pizza. Sample the Foxy Lady, a signature roll with spicy scallop, avocado and a papaya-strawberry sauce, or the Ex-Girlfriend roll, with spicy crab, shrimp tempura and smoked salmon. The central bar and lounge area is popular for happy hour and weekend date night when DJ's take over the space.
