South Austin backyard hangout for locals in need of a Torchy's Tacos or Shuggie's Burgers & Seafood fix.. In Short
Dining al fresco surrounded by tall trees and Bouldin Creek, young kids cavort among the picnic tables and locals eagerly wait in line for tacos and burgers. The atmosphere is true to its South Austin roots, but the trailers in this park serve up fresh-made food from two locally owned favorites. Torchy's turns out classics like tasty breakfast tacos, chips with green chili queso or guacamole, green chili pork tacos, the sinfully addictive fried avocado taco and fajitas. Next door at the Shuggie's trailer, diners can sample fried shrimp or catfish, crispy hushpuppies, ice cream battered onion rings, and a veggie or all-beef burger with your choice of toppings.
