Jaimie - what a Jersey girl!. I moved from NC and was trying to find a hairdresser I liked who could do my hair the way I wanted. After trying several different ones, someone recommended Shear Headase and Jaimie. When I walked in the first time, Jaimie acted like she'd known me all my life and it hasn't changed since then. She is happy, loud, cute and a very good stylist who loves hair color. I love my hair every time I walk out and it feels great! I promised her that I'd write this review, since she forgot to tell me I could!! LOL Jersey girls are like that sometimes but what fun! I've recommended this place to everyone I know and if they don't go, it's their loss because Shear Headcase is pretty wonderful. Hope my Jersey friend likes this. Go visit when you can, you won't regret it.

Jennifer you are the BEST!. I read all the wonderful reviews about Shear Headcase and thought I would give it a try. I’m hooked! From the moment you walk into this charming little house you feel the positive energy and see the enthusiasm these ladies have for what they do. The products are fantastic. Jennifer has cut, styled, and colored my hair beautifully every time. This is one of the best salons in the Austin/Lakeway area. The reviews speak for themselves!

What a find!. I have moved here recently and was anxious to find a hairdresser to replace my NJ hairdresser of 22 years. What luck! I walked into Shear Headcase and was greeted by a a friendly, welcoming staff. Then I found Jaimie. She is wonderful! She found the right style for me. My hair color is perfect. I look forward to coming here. As I sip my coffee and relax, Jaimie takes care of everything. You can tell she has a passion for her work. May I add that it is priced reasonably. I am recommending this salon to all family and friends!

Amazing! I love getting my hair done now!. I started going to Shear Headcase and seeing Krissy a little over a year ago after a friend from work recommended them. I really wanted to color my hair and was worried since I have had bad experiences in the past. I had seen what they had done for my friend’s hair and was optimistic.

After my consultation I was confident that I would be pleased with the results and I was! I was so happy that my hair actually turned out like I wanted it to and it looked amazing! I have returned every month for the past year, and always look forward to my appointment. They pamper you and it is so relaxing, I love having me time!

The Stylists are amazing and the staff is so friendly. I have been seeing Krissy until recently and now Jennifer is doing my hair until Krissy returns. Jennifer also does my daughters hair and it is the first time my daughter has ever wanted to come back to get a haircut. They always do an excellent job and always give a great consultation to see exactly what you want. Plus the product line is amazing, my hair always looks and feels great.



Krissy and Jennifer told me about the Brazilian Blowout about four months ago. They told me that it make your hair soft, shiny, manageable with less frizz. I was interested, but not convinced. After I saw the results on both Krissy and Jennifer I decided to try it. The Brazilian Blowout is amazing! Incredible! I love it! I was shocked at how soft, shiny and straight my hair was after I received it. You also get the products with the treatment. I have received sooo many compliments on my hair since getting the Brazilian Blowout. It is amazing how easy it is to get ready and have straight, soft frizz-free hair after getting the blowout.



I am going to get my hair done again this weekend and can’t wait!

Wonderful Experience. I have been a client of Jennifer's for a year now and I look forward to each of my appointments with her. From the moment that you walk into the salon you feel special and pampered. You are greeted by name by everyone and offered something to drink.

I love the way Jennifer cuts and highlights my hair. She really listens to how you would like your hair and makes it happen.

The whole experience is wonderful. You feel like you are hanging out with friends and getting your hair done at the same time! It usually is the first time all week that I have slowed down and just enjoyed being pampered.

If you are looking for a positive change in a hair stylist, I would totally recommend Jennifer Cook and Shear Headcase!

Adorable Cottage Salon in Bee Cave. Just moved to Lakeway and had the daunting task of finding a stylist who could cut my hair after being with the same stylist in Chicago for so many years. Using city search saved the day. I am so happy that I chose Shear Headcase. Walking into the adorable cottage you get a sense of being home where everyone cares that you are there. You are offered a choice of beverages and many reading materials to choose from. Jennifer, my stylist,

is full of knowledge about hair and takes time with you to discuss the pros and cons of what works for you. I love the shampoo room! The umbrellas are very fun and relaxing to look at. I also am very happy because it is affordable pampering! They also have a variety of ways to get a 10% off your next visit. After two visits there I now know that I will be going here for a long time to come.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Adorable and chic salon in Bee Cave area. Jennifer does an amazing job figuring you what your needs and wishes are. She talks with you till you both are 100% excited about what to do. They also offer beverages while you are getting beautified in the chair.

I had a long over due hair cut and color. LOVED IT!! Went back again for a Brazilian Blowout!! LOVED ii and am addicted. I love going out in the rain with out my hair instantly frizzing in to a puff ball. No more BASEBALL CAPS!!!

Best Cut, Color and Blowouts EVER!. I made my first appointment about 9 months ago after reading all the great reviews for Shear Headcase. Based on my initial fabulous experience, I have come back here again, and again, and again! Jennifer does my cut and color and she is truly outstanding. Nothing is taken for granted. Each session starts with a consult to see how my hair is working for me and what I'd like to do. My hair looks amazing every time.

Jamie does my husband's hair (it looks great and he loves it!) and also does weekly blowouts for me...and totally rocks it! I have also had a Brazilian Blowout with Jennifer and my hair has never looked or felt better...healthy and shiny with no frizz. Love, love, love this place and especially Jennifer and Jamie.

Always Feel Pampered!. I discovered Jennifer about a year ago and I can't say enough about how much I love Shear Headcase. All the stylists are professional and make you feel special. The salon has such a quaint and soothing atmosphere. I feel like they have great advice while also listening to what you want. I have been using the Davines products and just love how shiny and healthy my hair feels. My mom, while visiting from out of town, loved my color and decided to give Shear Headcase a try. You get all this and it is competitively priced! Take my advice and give Shear Headcase a try!!!

Brazilsan Blowout. I found Krissy by a friend reference and couldn't be more pleased! I was not happy with the color of my hair--it was too reddish--and I wanted more platinum highlights. Krissy took over an hour to sit with me and talk about my hair and its condition. She was honest with me about going platinum at that time--my hair would have fallen off. Together we started a plan to recondition my hair and get it where I wanted it. She suggested products that ROCK and gradually my hair has grown to the point that platinum is finally possible. I did the Brazillian Blowout and my hair has never been as silky or manageable.

I have been to many salons and cannot be more pleased with Shear Headcase. Not only are they talented but everyone there is kind and friendly. You should not miss this salon!!
