In Short – In the same mall as Alamo Village, expect Cover 3 to serve its sports onslaught with a side of tasty New American fare in an upscale setting. With more than a dozen 52-inch HD TVs, NFL Sunday Ticket and access to every game, there isn't a seat in the house that has a bad view of the action. The main dining room and bar area reflect an upscale lounge atmosphere while a separate lounge area upstairs keeps the party going with comfortable leather couches and even more TVs. Disappointed!

My officestaff went to Cover 3 after work for happy hour last week. The food was fair at best. My quesadillas were nothing special. I ordered the Carrie's Cosmo and it was tasty but very mild. The trio appetizer was disappointing. Service was good but we won't be back. So sad.
Do you smell that?

I had a good feeling walking into Cover 3. The waitstaff was friendly the place was nicely setup and our large and ever-growing party was accomodated immediately. Unfortunately the place stinks like a sewer and I got a horrible case of food poisoning from something I ate there. I'm not sure but it may have been a friend oyster but maybe it was the obvious open sewage that you can smell! Disgusting! I will never...ever go back here and you are probably putting your health at risk if you do. Bummer
- Pros: Nice wait staff
- Cons: food poisoning smells like sh#@*t
A Great Place!

This place has a great atmosphere along with wonderful food. The Triple appetizer is delicious and the Carrie Cosmo was Fantastic! I also had the Cover 3 salad with chicken and it was sooooo good. You must go there, you will not be disappointed.
- Pros: Not downtown, Easy Access, Great Food
Great Appetizers & Drinks
by txredheart at Citysearch
I recently went to Cover 3 on a date and very impressed. We ordered from their appetizer menu because it still Happy Hour and their prices were so good. We ordered the Calamari, it was delicious and so tender. We asked for marinara sauce, but they didn't have it, however they brought us this excellent roumalude (sp?). We also ordered the TRIO which is salsa, guacamole & queso blanca with hand made chips. Sooo good and so fresh. My date had draft beers and a specialty ordered maragita (skinny), which is off menu but he said was made perfectly. I cautiously ordered the Carrie Cosmo hoping that they didn't go too far in messing up what could otherwise have been a simple cosmopolitan. I'm so glad I did... It was EXCELLENT! Our service was good as well. All in all... it was a great experience.
- Pros: Delicious Starters & Martinis
- Cons: No Marinara sauce for the Calamari
Good Sliders

- Pros: lots of room
