My Wedding Cake Was The Best I Have Ever Tasted. I have been to many weddings where the cake was made too far in advance for decor purposes and by the time the bride and groom sliced into it, it was stale and the fondant was rock hard and the taste (which not everyone enjoys) was just terrible. When we went in to Paloma's chic little bakery I expressed this concern and she assured me that all cakes were made with the best and most fresh ingredients available. Our cake was outstanding, all of our guest from NY were commenting about it. We barely had any left over after the night was through! Thanks Paloma - your cake was tres magnifique!! I am already missing the taste of the bourbon pecan and fluffy buttercream!!
Locally owned bakery specializing in custom designed wedding and special occasion cakes..
In Short
Owner and pastry chef Paloma Efron (a former cake maker at the Driskill Hotel) meets personally with each client to create the cake of her dreams. Each handmade cake is made from natural ingredients whenever possible, including free-range eggs and organic dairy products. Cakes celebrate traditional flavors like red velvet, carrot, lemon pound cake and Italian cream among others. With gourmet fillings like peanut butter mousse and Kahlua espresso mousse, cake combinations are endless. Ready-made masterpieces include decadent dulce de leche, tiramisu, bourbon praline cake and almond strawberry.
