In Short – Enter from the rear at this charming East Sixth dive. Plenty of intimate seating areas help define the atmosphere indoors while two pol tables, a couple of 80s-era arcade games and a jukebox (featuring plenty of Austin selections) keep patrons occupied. Well drinks are happy hour priced all day every day, with PBR and Miller High Life tallboys dominating many a tabletop. The back patio with its own beer garden is spacious and suits the cool clientele to a tee. Free WiFi.
didn't like it...why you might ask?

I once use to go to college. I know all about trendy stuff. Ugly sneakers, tight pants and that disheveled look. Girls with asymmetrical hairstyles. We went there during the sock hop. I was super excited. My excitement turned to disappointment as I saw the crowd. UHHh, one more trendy booted person with tight gray pants and I wanted to upheave. I loved the bartenders. They were fast and furious and gave me the best service ever. However, I didn't want to see one more white person (I am white) dancing out of beat to the music with an O face. So we headed home early. I decided I am over the college scene and hipsters who make their consumptive fashion centered life styles the bane of my existence . Not everyone at the sock hop was bad, but there was a large portion of loud sorority type obnoxiousness going on.
- Pros: tetris, outside seating, fast bartender
- Cons: ugly, bad scenester college kids
