Sipping margaritas @ Oasis, while car gets fixed. Having good car repair in Lakeway is a blessing. No more driving into Austin to get my BMW serviced. A few weeks ago, I dropped my car off on a Saturday and went to the Oasis for drinks with my friends. Normally, I like doing my own brakes, but I just wasn't feeling it this time. The manager told me they could use my brake parts and do the job for me. Needless to say I definitely preferred having drinks with my buddies and not being stuck at home doing my brakes. You guys are aces in my book!

Waste of Time and Money. The only thing worst than there mechanics is their customer service. The first time I was told the work was going to take less than a couple of hours, and they finally called me four hours later to pick up my car. Got into the car and still have the same problem. Went back the next day and was told it would be 20 minutes to fix the same problem. Two hours later, I finally got into my car the problem was even worst! This is after their "mechanic" test drove my car. Turned around and called them from my cell and Dave was incompetent and combative. Went home, put on my spare tire, and the pulling problem was fixed in five minutes. If you like horrible customer service, wasting your time, and mechanics that can't fix a simple problem, then this is the place to waste your time and money!

Buda is so lucky. For five years, I took my car to Brake Specialists in South Austin where Aaron assured me excellent, fast service, transparency, honesty and a fair price. He took care of three of my cars over those years and I never found a better price or higher quality work than from those mechanics who worked for him. Then he moved to Buda!

So, even though it is less convenient, I am following him to have him continue to oversee work on my new car (which also helps me avoid the horror and abuse that is San Marcos Honda). Resident of Buda are very lucky.

(Note that all the awful reviews of Brake Specialist in Buda pre-date Aaron's arrival.)

Timing belt and 100K service, Very Satisfied. I had my timing belt and 100k service performed by the Brake Specialists near the lake. They took care of the work for me in about half a day. They even gave me a ride home and picked me up. I had been doing my service at the dealership, but I think I have found their replacement. Thanks guys. Our family wishes you all a very Merry Christmas!

Took good care of my Audi. I brought my pride and joy into Brake Specialists for some brake work and to replace some worn out bushings on the front end. They got all of the parts in same day and got the vehicle back to me before they closed. The brakes have been great and the front end is much quieter with the new bushings. Thanks for taking care of my vehicle.

Land Rover Brakes, But Not Land Rover Prices. I brought my Land Rover Discovery over to these guys and they replaced all 4 rotors, both pad sets and all of the brake pads sensors for about $600.00 cheaper than Land Rover. All of the parts were OEM to boot. Thanks for the service.

Safe shop for your classic or custom ride.. I have noticed quite a few classic and custom vehicles being brought to this location. I decided to bring in my Cobra for some brake work. They took good care of my vehicle with no scratches upon pickup. I left the vehicle with them for a week and they pampered it for me. The brakes feel great and I will bring another one of my classics to have them work on it.

Fixed Wheel Hub and Bearing on my Jaguar. My right front hub assembly was making some serious noise about 3 weeks ago, so I decided to listen to my neighbor and bring my Jaguar down to Adam at the Lakeway Brake Specialists. Adam met me at the counter and he was very polite. They gave me a courtesy ride home. They called me with an estimate on the vehicle in about an hour of dropping it off. They ordered me a oem hub assembly with a new bearing and installed it same day. Typically, I have to drop my vehicle off at Jaguar and then wait 2 days for them to call me with an estimate. I will definitely be back when I need some new brakes. Thanks Adam.

Took Good Care of My Mercedes. I had Adam recently perform my scheduled tune-up and all of the brakes on my Mercedes. He helped me plan on bringing it in and acquiring all of the parts, so he could finish the vehicle in one day for me. True to his word, I had my Mercedes back by the end of the day. I really appreciate the staff at this facility and I will continue to bring all my vehicles to Adam. Also, a big thanks to James for doing the work on my vehicle!

Good Enough for Lakeway PD, Good Enough for Me. Apparently, the Lakeway Police department gets there vehicles serviced here. I noticed that they dropped off 3 vehicles the same day I was there to get brakes done I think. I was getting my brakes done as well at that time. They got my vehicle in and out quickly as well as 2 of the police vehicles. It gives me a lot of confidence in this shop, that the police department trusts them with their vehicles. By seeing this, I also have a lot of confidence in them fixing my vehicles as well. That is why I am glad to say, "If this place is good enough for the Lakeway Police Department, then it is good enough for me." Thanks guys for taking such good care of me and thanks for getting our boys in blue back on the streets.
