Head somewhere else for your Louis!. I have to agree with the both of the other two reviews. This shop is so sad. I went there to buy my daughter a new purse and wallet for her birthday and these people were so rude. I am used to going to the Houston Galleria shop (where the service is really over the top) and was not prepared for the low level of service here. My daughter recently relocated to Austin and I visited her there and decided to pick her up something from the Domain shop. What a mistake!! I have been a loyal customer of this purse maker for over 33 years and I have bought many items from them in various different countries. But this shop is truly the worst I have ever visited. There was a young lady and a young man in the shop at the time and as I entered there was no greeting or anything. Neither of them were doing anything but shuffling things around in the display case and discussing what was going where etc... I was just about to leave (after about 10 minutes) when FINALLY I was asked if I needed assistance. Really!!! I will also go out of my way to avoid this store in the future and do my Louis shopping elsewhere. It is very sad because this company should have more control over their employees behaviour and more pride in their product than to hire these mannerless people. The Louis Vuitton shops in Dallas , Houston, and Ft. Worth are miles ahead of this store!!!! Learn from them Austin!!!
Will drop my $$ elsewhere!.
I will go out of my way before I ever go here again. I walked in today wanting to buy a bag and wallet for my daughters college graduation. No other customers were in the store. The sales lady acted as if I were bothering her when I asked to look at bags and wallets.
I wanted to inquire about having my LV bag cleaned. She explained there would be a "small fee" to have it sent in and have new handles put on it. I said "what exactly is a small fee?" and she replied "oh, around $180". How pretentious of her! I was completely disgusted. On YOUR salary Ms. Snob, I doubt you consider $180 a "small fee". Im an attorney and was prepared to drop $2000 in there today, and even I think $180 is a bit much for new handles on a bag I paid $600 for. Shame on you and your haughty, unfriendly attitude. I will take my valuable business elsewhere!
Generic Selections. I don't think the staff here knows the difference between Egyptian Cotton Canvas and a Walmart sack. I feel that if you're to work at a high boutique you should know material composition, or in the very least your own product line. I think most of the stuff they carry is very generic and it's difficult to find diversity in accessories or ready to wear considering they don't really carry any. I understand that it's a small market segment and they only carry essential bags that they feel would pitch well but I'm sure like lots of you out there are tired of seeing the same ol' thing over and over. Besides who wants to carry the same bag everyone else has all over town.
