Eric, from Penguin Entertainment, was the DJ at our daughter's wedding two weeks ago at Green Pastures in Austin. Friends and family are still talking about him. He was absolutely fabulous!! Eric is personable, professional and was always available to answer any questions up to the day of the wedding. When he announced the last song, the dance floor was still completely full and we heard many moans and groans. No one wanted to leave! He played exactly what the bride and groom wanted as well as choosing, as they requested, music that he thought would be a good fit. I would recommend Eric without hesitation.

GREAT DJ!!!. I have never hired a dj before, but needed one for my wedding reception at the Four Seasons last weekend. I worked with Josh across the last 7-8 months who was nothing but courteous and helpful. I was then linked up with Eric, my actual dj for the big night, a couple of months ago and he was just as wonderful. I sent him must play/must not play songs, etc and he adhered to each and every request with ease. He announced our last name (which is usually butchered) perfectly along with everything else throughout the night. I would highly suggest Penguin Entertainment for any event! They were so pleasant, easy to work with, reasonably priced & professional. I think Eric had the entire wedding on the dance floor at one point or another...THANK YOU, we had the time of our lives!!! =)

Spectacular DJ. We hire Penguin Entertainment because they offer the full package. Josh is a spectacular DJ. He knows how to gauge a crowd and keeps a party rockin’ all night. Austins worst DJ company. I have never had to deal with getting a DJ, and this company makes me never want to again. they are one of the most expensive DJ companies in Austin and they pride themselves on their appearance which isn't all that great, the guy was using I-Pods to DJ our show, I paid for some extra speakers and didn't get them probably wont see money back on that a few hundred more dollars down the drain that I can't afford to lose right now, just stay away from them at all cost

Probably the worst company I have ever worked with. They forgot the first dance song didn't even take the time to learn my name. We met up about a week before and he came hung over from the night before it was awful, I don't know what kind of person would do that to someone. Also he announced the whole thing like he was at a strip club, he wasn't able to hook up the microphone for the minister to read our vows but still charged us anyway without our knowing of course, they take your credit card up front and charged us for the whole thing, the music was laughable at best, played most of the songs that we asked him not to play, because of course when you tell someone that you don't want 80's hair metal at a wedding the immediately think that means play it nine songs in a row. I am just sick...sick at the thought that these people ruined my wedding. if you let them they will single handedly ruin your wedding just like he did mine. I couldn't get my wife to stop crying. That man is childish, immature, and incompetent. this is the first time that I ever booked a DJ and I figured they looked like a pretty good company, like they were really big on image they all wear tux's and things like that, they are certainly the most expensive company around charging 1500 dollars for a guy that uses i-pods and a small soundboard to play music, really just any thing that comes to mind, which turns out is all the music you don't want heard at your wedding the least he could do is get it right. But sadly even the smallest things seem completely impossible in their hands. Their company works mostly on weddings, but please please don't make the mistake of going with this company because your wedding is supposed to be the biggest and happiest day of your life not the day that you look back on and think what was I thinking.

Best disc jockey company. Penquin Entertainment was great to work with. Very professional and easy to work with. Had contract e -mailed to me within minutes and I filled it out and mailed it and had confirmation within 5 days. Had disc jockey Eric Christiansons and what a joy. He was early for the wedding reception, had everything set up when I arrived 1/2 hour early and was dressed very professional in a tux. Our party was casual wedding reception but Eric added class. Great selection of songs. He was extremely easy to work with and helped the flow of the party from start to finish. He even got on the dance floor and led the electric slide and the chicken dance. Several guests commented how what a great job he was doing. He was the first to arrive and the last to leave. I would highly recommend Penquin Entertainment and especially Eric.

They exceeded in every area from beginning of talking to them on the phone, getting the contract and the actual job. Great going.
