Consistently terrible To-Go service. Every single time I call ahead to place a pick-up order, when I get there after the amount of time they say it will be ready, I have still had to sit at the bar even longer once I get there, while all the bar-staff try to figure out "Where's the order?"...usually they end up having to RE-COOK the order, probably because they never put the order in in the first place when I call it in. And THAT's even even I can get any service at the bar for them to ask what I am waiting on. And even all those times, I still tipped 10% on To-Go because I know who the industry works and I just kept giving them the benfit of the doubt that they were all honest mistakes unrelated to each other. But no, I have come to realize that their staff at this location is just the most immature, unorganized group of people. The past three days in a row, I couldn't even PLACE a To-Go order because three days in a row when I call to ask if I can place a To-Go order, they say, "Sure one second please", then I got put on hold for 7-9minutes, I watched the clock, each time! I ended up not getting my order in for THREE days straight. I finally give up. Even if I finally ever get someone to take my call off of hold, I know it would just result in me arriving to pick up the food and them having "lost" the slip. See ya later, TGI FRIDAY, I'm going to start getting my potato skins from Cheddars now.
Every night is the weekend at this bistro, where families enjoy American kitsch and cuisine alongside partying singles..
In Short
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.
Recommended. The food is always good. Very large menu, including Atkins approved dinners. Good bar menu also. The staff could use some training in customer service. Otherwise, very decent food and variety. Not the best in town, but good at what they do. The Jack Daniel's Grill is excellent (all varieties).
