Great Bar, Loud variety of music!. The bar is great and the prices are competitive. If the only complaint is the poor service from the only male bartender. All the rest of this crew seems to be fun, and happy to serve and fairly prompt. If you enjoy a bar where you could become an appreciated regular, this is it!

Great music! But service has gone downhill.... If you're looking for great bands w/o wading thru the downtown hassle, then Hanovers is your place. You park WITH the rock stars and get treated to a cosy "dive" not to mention a nice outdoor patio and large garten where opening bands play in the evenings.

Now, beware watching a big band there. In the past few years Hanovers has NEVER staffed well. I have literally waited 15 mins. for a drink and somehow even got served before others in line next to me (so it's not me).

North Austin's Best. i'm sort of hesitant to right such a good review because I don't want it to turn into what other Austin Club/bar have become in service and attidude.

This is one of the friendliest bar i've been to in Austin for a very long time. If your in north Austin and don't want the drive or attitude of sixth street or the warehouse district, but like to hear good live music of great local performer's go to Hanover's.

Northern Gem. If you are looking for some outstanding music, large selection of on tap beer and margaritas to quench your hot summer thirst, then head east on 1825 to the quaint town of Plfugerville. The locals are friendly and quite lucky to have this neighbiorhood venue in their own backyard. The music line up is always phenomenal, karaoke on Thusday nights, ladies night on Wednesdays, no cover, great drink specials. If you are tired of the 6th street scene, head out to Hanover's and enjoy some down home fun and dancing!

Hanover's-a great place to be. After living in Austin for a year, I still can't find a better bar than Hanover's. Great staff, good crowd, tons of beer on tap and very decent BBQ. What more could you ask for? Whether sitting outside chucking 'shoes or shooting pool inside, it's a fine place to be. Even a Sunday afternoon beer is guaranteed to be a good time. Let's just hope the city doesn't have their way with this place. Keep Hanover's alive!!
