When I first walked into, “Piranha Killer Sushi”, I didn’t know what to expect. The place was easy to find with the large yellow Piranha outside and right then I knew I was going to get something different. The place is really nice and well decorated. Great menu, which was easy to read. It was a fun and friendly environment and our waitress was really helpful with the selection of different types of sushi. The food was great and reasonably priced. It was a good experience and we’ll be back again soon.

My partner took me to  Piranha Killer Sushi for the first time the other day. I have to say I was a bit skeptical. I've been to a lot of places in town that claim to have good sushi but really are mediocre at best. Wow, was I proven wrong. Their specialty rolls were very special indeed. It is so good to finally have found decent sushi!

It's been there for years and is recognizable by the fusing looking yellow dish outside. It's not fancy but it is consistent. The chefs here put a pacific rim influence on asian and Japanese cuisine. Get the cucumber wrapped rolls in the heat of the summer .

Awesomeness!!. Well, my friend introduced me to PKS, and I can't thank her enough! Just the "feel" of the place is great, but the sushi is way better. The staff were very nice and pleasant...Tony the bartender suggessted a Sexy Asian, and AMAZING was the only thing that can be said about that drink! That's the only place I get sushi from now. Nobody can compare! Must try this place!

So YUM. So I went here on a date, got two appetizers and two rolls of sushi. IT. WAS. FAB! I guess the only downside is it was a little pricey, but for the atmosphere it was nice! Let's just say I wouldn't go there if I wasn't the one paying ;) Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly!

Best Sushi in Austin!!! Perfect Ambiance & Great Service!!!!. We found this Sushi place on Citysearch Austin & took 20 friends in for a double birthday party a couple weeks ago. We were VERY worried that we were not going to have great service because there were so many of us... BUT to our surprise we were treated like Kings & Queens!!! Service was SOOOOO good. The food was SPECTACULAR!! I had Stuffed Tempura Jalepenos, Seaweed Salad, Sashimi Sushi Combo, & a great bottle of wine! With Tip, the meal was less than $75!!! The environment in the Sushi restaurant was second to none. A golden clean aura filled the room. The food came out very quickly as well. They accommodated perfectly for our 20 top!! If you want a great Sushi dinner in Austin without the usual Sushi snobs or pricing.... This is your spot! Loved it Loved it!! Best Sushi Restaurant in Austin in my opinion!!

My taste buds are thanking me!. Me and my fiance went to Piranha on our 2 year anniversary last night around 8pm, I should have made a reservation as they were on a wait which was a bit unexpected for a Thursday night, enjoyably, we were able to have a few of their signature martinis while we waited for our table, great service at the bar btw.

We got a table after waiting for about 20 min which was perfect as we were just finishing up our wonderful drinks. Our server, Sam, started us out by suggesting their Crudo of Hamachi, or something of that nature, which had an incredible cilantro puree sauce, this dish was utterly mouth watering, and the hamachi practicably melted in my mouth, freshest yellow tail I have had in a while. As the server was already doing such a good job with suggesting us an awesome bottle of sake and the Crudo, we decided to just let her take control of our dinner and bring us whatever the house favorites were. Although we did have to try the merry Me roll which is topped with strawberries., YUM. After all was said and done we left satisfied and salivating the entire walk to Alamo Draft house for a movie. Impeccable service, some the most creative and freshest sushi I have ever had, and not to mention the artistry of the chefs was amazing. Also on a side note, I don't notice it very often when I am out to eat but the music selection was on point for the ambiance of the store and it fit very well with the hip vibe that Austin just cant help but to give off. Piranha, i love you, I will be back again and again....

Delish!. I'm lovin this place! Piranha Killer Sushi is just that - KILLER! My all time favorites are the Birthday Roll and the Crunchy Tuna Roll. This is a great place to go with friends and their happy hour can't be beat. PKS is the new go-to spot downtown for sushi in Austin. Don't miss out!
