I have shopped at The Garden Room since the doors first opened and am constantly complimented on my clothes and asked where I shop. Amazingly, they always have more inventory than the larger stores, with accessories....shawls, jewelry, shoes and bags....all right there, so you don't have to go all over town to put an outfit together. Staff is helpful and very knowledgeable! The best in Texas!!!! It's really the only place I shop.

I'm a longterm resident of Austin, and huge supporter of local businesses. However, The Garden Room is one local business I will never support again. Everytime I've been in this shop, I have never felt welcomed. The last time I visited the store affirmed that my past experiences there were not just one-time bad encounters. When I walked in the door, there were three sales persons standing near one another at the jewelry counter, and for a brief moment they stopped talking, and with a head to toe glance of me, they almost scoffingly dismissed my presence. After browsing for 10 minutes, without being even asked if I needed any help, I left the store vowing to myself that I would never step foot in there again. Garden Room Staff.....change the vibe, the attitudes, the environment to make your store more welcoming to all of your customers!
