High End Shopping at a Bargain

I read about Lovely Austin on tidbits this morning. I've had a few pieces in my closet that I've been thinking of putting on ebay, until I went and talked to the owner of the boutique. Once I walked in and saw their immaculate store with its beautiful clothes, I knew that I would have a much better chance of getting my money back on my purchases if I sold through them. After putting my items into consignment, I couldn't help but be lured into browsing around. Well, it was most worth it. I ended up buying a beautiful double strand pearl necklace from the 1950s at such a low price that I couldn't believe they were real. I will most definitely be back.

I shop tons of consignment and thrift. No other resale shop in Austin - or anywhere - looks or feels like Lovely Austin. It's laid out like a high-end boutique, and the pieces are displayed beautifully. You don't have to trudge through rounds or racks of junk to get to the good stuff. It's ALL good stuff. The place is super cute. On my first visit, I got a FANTASTIC cocktail dress at an amazing price. This is my new favorite Austin store.

An upscale boutique without the upscale prices!

I love this store! It has the look and feel of an expensive boutique but the deals are great! Their selection of estate jewelry is awesome! Will definitely be back (especially on Wine Wednesday:).

My new favorite place to shop!

I don't have a lot of time to shop, but when I do, I generally go to designer discount stores. After spending hours at a newly opened retail clearance store and finding nothing that was quite right, I headed over to Lovely.

In just half an hour I found an ENTIRE OUTFIT for $37 and picked up two one of a kind necklaces made by local Austin Artists.

This place is fabulous. I highly recommend it, whether you have clothes to consign, or are looking for hip clothing at amazing prices. They even have some great vintage home accessories.

And the BEST part? No need to sift through racks and racks of junk. The owners definitely have an eye for fashion and very high standards!
