This is a down-home, chicken-fried place with a lot of Southern cooking, where steaks hang off the plate, are smothered in gravy or preferably both at the same time. From a full breakfast to baby back ribs to all the sides one would see at grandma's house, or a Luby's, this place slings rich, traditional, comfort foods. Red checkered tablecloths help set the tone to country, and the menus are printed on pieces of wood for that eerie, "Have I seen this before on "King of the Hill"?" feeling.
