Holy Cacao's hot chocolate isn't for the faint of heart: This South 1st food trailer melts down two parts pure chocolate and one part cream for rich, unadulterated hot chocolate goodness. There's also a peppermint and a Mexican variety, and the latter is my favorite: It's infused with ancho chiles, cayenne and cinnamon, to create one deliciously caliente beverage.
Have your cake & drink it too! This trailer's famous for sweet treats from cake balls to cake milk shakes & sipping chocolate.
Citysearch Editorial Review.
In a town no stranger to sweets sold from a truck, this one has enough innovative tricks to keep it interesting and instantly addictive. First up, the primary draw: cake balls, golf-ball-sized treats perched adorably on popsicle sticks keep fingers clean and allow ample time for nibbling with no melting. These tasty globes are fully sheathed in a ganache-like frosting, and never dry out. Frozen drinking chocolate and its steamier counterpart are on the menu, as are thick milkshakes.
Cake can be whirled into any shake, to double one's fun. Everything is made by hand, and the punny blue cows that decorate the stand were painted by Austinite Claire Hees.
