I have worked with Plush Fabrics on two separate occasions. The first time they made an upholstered head board, draperies and reupholstered to occasional chairs. I was extremely pleased with everything they did. They were very helpful and the quality of the work was excellent.
When it came to reupholstering my sofa, love seat, swivel rocker, and ottomans I didn
Plantation Shutters :). My husband and I just had our custom plantation shutters installed by Plush Fabric and Home Interiors and we love them! We highly recommend Plush Fabric and Home Interiors if you are considering installing plantation shutters in your home. We shopped around prior to deciding where to purchase the shutters and, for various reasons, we chose not to purchase them from any of the places we considered. Thank goodness, Sydney and Plush Fabric and Home Interiors was recommended to us! From our first communication through the final installation, they were professional, helpful, and very responsive. The shutters are of very high quality and the paint is perfectly matched to our existing white woodwork. The shutters are beautiful! Sydney was so good about keeping in touch with us regarding our purchase. The shutters were installed right on schedule and we couldn't be happier with the end result.
A Hidden Treasure!. I have worked with Sydney and the staff at Plush on many projects for my home. They made precious crib-bedding and window treatments for my daughter's nursery as well as for my niece's nursery. Sydney is always so helpful when it comes to finding that perfect fabric. Most recently the workshop reupholstered my dining room chairs and as usual they turned out beautifully. The staff is professional and courteous and my projects have always been on time! When working with a well-know custom furniture store in Austin the salesperson suggested I get the leather for my bed from this wonderful fabric store in Cedar Park, of course that turned out to be Plush Fabrics.
Great Experience. I had Plush Fabric make drapes for four rooms in my house. The owner, Sydney, helped me find fabric and designed the drapes. All of the drapes look fantastic! I couldn't be happier. All in all working with Plush Fabric was a great experience.
Stay AWAY: Run by a bunch of FLIGHTY WOMEN. With excitement & pleasure I entered Plush to schedule the recovering of an antique chair. We made arrangements to have the chair picked up between 11 & 12 the next day. The time came and went. When I called Plush, there was no explanation given other than my appointment was missed. The delivery crew was down in S.ATx all day & no ONE was responding to their cell phones (per the owner's mother's statement). The owner is out of town on vacation. No ONE could give me a time that someone would be at my house to pick up the chair. One employee went so far as to say there was no hurry because they would not begin work until AFTER Christmas. Of course there is no hurry. They have nearly $200 of my money as a deposit. Never mind that their customers have schedules & lives as well. STAY away from this business unless you can operate at their convenience, on their schedule, & do not mind endless excuses with no solutions proposed. Unfortunately for these people, I have several other items of furniture in need of work & would have become a long term customer.
